can Jennings, Stuckey, Jerebko, Singler, CV, Bynum, Siva, Gigi, Mitchell, and future picks along with cap space be enough to entice Boston and Orlando into helping us become title contenders?

No.

Not likely. The only players on this roster that have any value right now are Monroe, Drummond and surprisingly, Stuckey.

Anybody else, Joe couldn't get a bag of chips for them. They're either overpaid for what they do (Smith, Jerebko) or they're players nobody else would want or desire (Jennings). Sure, KCP may have value as a rookie, and CV is an expiring. But again, they don't have enough cache to command any notable value.

Afflalo playing better than anyone on our team right now and is the best player on a team with an identical record to us even though he has less talent around him.

They need to get Rondo somehow. He would solve a lot of their problems defensively, which are mostly perimeter based and from the inability to stop dribble penetration at the PG position, leading to scrambling defense and open 3's.

Jennings isn't getting it done at all on defense and its becoming a common theme. To compound it, they have a worse defender inside in Monroe as the last line of defense. So our PG gets beat off the dribble, and then our 2's and 3's have to leave shooters to help in the paint because Monroe isn't able to do it himself. Liabilities defensively at PG and up front is bad combo to have. Which is why I would deal both for Rondo if possible, and that is probably what it will take to get him, if at all. No way we get him just for our garbage.

Who knows about Afflalo, but I would think Orlando would want to get something of value for him, and not just expiring contracts, which aren't that valuable to a team that can't attract FAs. If we could get him for Stuckey though, I would do it. We need Afflalo's defense more than Stuckey. We could also keep KCP in the starting lineup at SF.

Rondo/Afflalo/KCP/Smith/Drummond. If they couldn't be a great defense with that lineup, then we would know its Cheeks and not the personnel.

I'm not on the whole season is lost yet bandwagon but I honestly wouldn't mind a trade at this point. Can't wait too long or we'll start digging ourselves in a hole we won't be able to get out of.

It's very unlikely. Both are the best players on teams that are trying to tank. Bostons doesn't even really want to move Rondo that much, so we'd have to give them a really good offer. Afflalo is much more likely to be moved though-it's possible that we could get him.

I think we could probly get Afflalo by taking on Nelson's contract too

we may need to throw in a future 1st too.. I really wish we decided to amnesty Gordon and not use a pick to dump him

Rondo will be tougher to get but I want to get Afflalo first then see how him and Jennings mesh.. alls I know is Afflalo is everything we're lacking at the 2
