76ers are 6-11 and the Pistons are 6-10. First meeting this year. Also Pistons will wear the Motor City alternates again.

This is a winnable game, but nothing is a guarantee with the Pistons. MCW and Turner are averaging more PPG than anyone on the Pistons, and they like to get out a run, which generally kills Detroit as they're terrible in transition.

You know, with the way our play has been inconsistent in closing out games, I'm going to bet we lose this one to the tanking Sixer's. Unless they start driving the tank towards the end.

Brett Brown has been a fantastic coach leading these young guys and outcoaching the league's established so I think this is one of those cases where coaching will come down to the wire.

MCW is going to make us pay for not choosing him. He is going to eat Jennings alive

The Good news is MCW has been getting lit up by decent PGs more times than not. Maybe Jennings can show he's above average.

Jennings is going to come out blazing. The success of his 1st quarter shots will determine the outcome of the game lol half kidding but check this out

Splits from basketball reference

Jennings
In Wins 11.2 ppg 8.6 apg on 18.1 % usage with .400 3pFg%
In Losses 18.1 ppg 7.9 apg on 27.9 % usage with .298 3pFg%

So when jennings passes the ball more and doesnt take as many shots ( Pull ups w/ 20 seconds left... ) and moves the ball around we have a much better chance of winning.

Makes more sense than trying to trade a PF to a team paying an All Star PF, all star money

You would hope Cheeks sees these things and forces Jennings to play this way or else.

I agree that we are better with an equal opportunity offense rather than any one guy taking all the shots, but these stats are kind of decieving because of the circumstances in a lot of our losses.

There's been a lot of games where Jennings has been pass-first the first 3 quarters, and we end up down 15 in the 4th. Then he takes over scoring and puts up a bunch of shots trying to lead us back. We end up losing, but we were going to lose anyways, so its not totally true that we lost those games because of him shooting too much. You could even argue we lost because he waited too long to start shooting, in those cases. Ultimately, I think we are best when he's staying balanced from start to finish.

Uh-Oh. Smith hit a three, now he'll want to take more.

Philly has a pretty terrible defense overall IIRC, so this promises to be a shootout.
