Well, that ship has sailed. Another SF gone. Dumars is preparing to ride this one out though I admit I wouldn't be too excited for Deng.

Detroit couldn't trade their 2015 pick, I believe. You can't go consecutive seasons without a first round draft pick.

Terrible deal for the Cavs. They better hope Lebron comes back

I wouldn't want to anyways, That's how you start to get in trouble like the NY teams.

The Bulls made out like gang busters. Cut Bynum tomorrow, lose Deng's contract that's $15mill saved. Amnesty Boozer this offseason and they'll have big $$$$ right when the big free agents come up. Plus the picks...man I'm jealous of GM's with a brain.

The Kings pick is top ten protected but it's still highly possible for the Kings to finish out of the top ten this year. Unless Rudy Gay has a thing or two to say about it.

I'm beginning to get depressed at trades that wouldn't even make sense for us just because I know we're trapped with this team...if the Heat and Spurs swapped 2nd rounders I'd still be pissed at Dumars. I've never hated a team like this years.

Great trade for cavs

I wanted deng here so bad. Oh well he's unrestricted after this season.

Looks like pistons wanna stay with smith Monroe Drummond for some reason. I wish i could read joes mind :/

Honestly this was a pretty stupid trade for the Cavs and would've made no sense for the Pistons to get involved.

Deng will likely leave Cleveland in the summer and they'll have given up draft picks just to make a run at the 8th seed.

There's no reason for the Pistons to give up anything of value for him when they can just sign him in the summer. Its actually better to wait, because trading for him now is no guarantee he will resign.

It does make me wonder what Chicago is up to though, if they go and amnesty Boozer too. If they clear enough space, they would pose a serious threat in FA for Carmelo.

If I were the Cavs and had made this move I'd be pretty pissed.

That pick was a valuable asset and they're really going to be missing it in a couple years when Deng is long gone and they could have had an extra likely lottery pick.

Agree... not sure why the Cavs feel confident they'll re-sign Deng... Deng likely will hurt their lotto chances this year.
The Bulls will have lots of trade flexibilty in the future.
