Caron Butler

Post#1 » by theBigLip » Fri Jan 17, 2014 6:38 pm

Looks like he is out of the rotation in Milwaukee who is now playing Giannis Antetokounmpo a lot more minutes. Butler has an expiring contract of 8M. The perfect trade would be to give them CV and let them have the pleasure of shutting him down the rest of the year :-)

That would be great - gives us a bit more cap room next year, although Bynum is earning his money when he gets PT.

What would be Milwaukee's interest here? They're both expiring contracts. Butler is at least serviceable to an extent- at least far more than Villanueva. Also, Butler is a local product who has been lamenting how much he appreciates being able to play for the Bucks, so he can be close to home. Also, he has a veteran presence.

CV is literally just an expiring contract. He doesn't bring an ounce of anything positive to a locker room culture. He's trash. Period.

Milwaukee wouldn't bother. Then again, Dumars would probably throw in KCP to grease the wheels.

HIS WIFE, that's a very (and the only) positive thing of him.

She'll be long gone once the dollars stop rolling in (which will be very soon).

I think Butler is shooting just as bad if not worse than Smith and Jennings this year.

Please don't give Dumars any ideas. He's been one of the brighter spots this season besides Moose and Dre.

You mean the pleasure of cutting CV wouldn't be enough for Milwaukee? :-)

Yes, we'd have to throw in Siva or Mitchell or a 2nd rounder.
