Actually he isnt better than that and isnt better than most

Many of my friends have met with and even spent extended time with Big Ben and they all agree he is nothing but a big assshole

He is rude to the majority of his fans, never wants to take pictures or sign autographs even becoming hostile towards fans

A few friends were out in a Detroit bar with Ben one night and the entire time he acted as if his fame and his fans were nothing but a burden. What a prick.

That being said how can anyone with millions of dollars in the bank get behind the wheel of a car drunk. That is beyond stupid

Unfortunately, I've had many personal encounters with Ben as well and that sounds like the Ben I know.

More drinking and driving for Big Ben?

It would be a bigger issue to me if anyone was actually harmed. Sorry, I don't have a bleeding heart for fencing.

Driving drunk again? I'm glad no one was hurt, but again?!? Jerk or not, this is just criminally irresponsible and he needs to feel the weight of this infraction. I hope Ben comes out of this a better man and a more productive contributer to his community. At bear minimum, I hope he comes out with sober driving before the next story talks about him killing himself or somebody else.

Yeah no kidding. I'm glad nobody was hurt from this irresponsible and reckless behavior. I've heard of too many heartbreaking stories where it involved more than 1 person in wreckage due to DUIs.

This is surprising to me.

I've met Ben myself, several times, and this is basically the polar opposite of my experiences with him. Me and my friends have several autographs, photos, and memorabilia that he wore in games. He was always quite personable with us. However, non of these experiences took place in Detroit or even the state of Michigan, don't know how much that matters though...

Anyways, I have never understood the whole drinking and driving thing. That could be because, I don't drink. But, even though it may be a burden to make arrangements to get around without yourself being behind the wheel, its not difficult to. Especially, if you have the superlative amount of means that professional athletes do.

If true, this was just an incredibly stupid and disapointing decision Ben made.
