Anybody else eagerly waiting for Andre to just posterize someone viciously? Haven't seen it yet but I really want to see it

and break Jordans back in the process. In all seriousness though Drummond while it looks like he can jump doesnt look like he has the elite leaping ability to dunk on anyone. Doesnt look like he gets up that high on dunks. Might explain why he doesnt block shots as well as every1 thought he would

Ersan didn't even jump. I want to see Andre dunk over someone's outstretched arms.

The thing is, players worry about their image so much, that the majority of the time, they'll run away from that situation altogether. I don't think Dre will get a monster poster any time soon.

I think its because it takes him very little effort to do what we see him do.. if he really wanted to/had the opportunity to I think he could sh^t on people

Doesn't Drummond posterize somebody at least once a game?
Just last game he posterized Duncan. He's one of the league leaders in dunks and puts one down on someone every game. I don't understand this thread.

No he doesn't. Clearly are interpretation of a posterizing dunk is much different.

If Dre really wanted to posterize ,which i'm not a big fan of, except to guys that do it our guys, he should watch some dunks by Grant hill. When he first came into the league he was one of the best in your face dunkers ever before he got hurt. I don't know Dre's hand size, but maybe his hands aren't big enough to palm the ball well enough to do that.

Anytime you put a dunk on someone that could be turned into a poster, you are posterizing them. That's what it means. Maybe you are referring to something else, like the fanboy reactions to a dunk or something not being big enough. It doesn't need to be trending on twitter or be the dunk of the century to have posterized someone. Every time Drummond puts down on alley oop over someone he's posterizing them. Clearly we do have different interpretations.
You can literally go on youtube and type "Drummond dunk" and there's dozens of examples.
Here's a montage of some of them. Just pause it when he's at the apex of each dunk over someone and there's your poster.

Why?
I rather the opponents stay scared to even contest his dunks like they do now. Why would you want it to be harder for him to finish?

Drummond doesn't have the alpha scorer/dunker mentality to ever make this more than a rare occurrence when the stars all align by happenstance. He could do it on an nightly basis if it was at all in his nature and he had any desire to dominate and impose his will.

Ok dude. You clearly do not get it or have the same mindset. It's about aggression. I want to see Andre catch the ball near the paint and think I'm dunking this ball no matter who gets in my way. It's a Blake Griffin mentality to finish like that and I wish Andre had the same mentality. He seems more content to just attempt a layup rather than use his size and athleticism to go ferociously to the basket for a dunk
