Huge european pistons fan here

Post#1 » by wallace72 » Wed Mar 12, 2014 4:33 pm

Hi guys, following the pistons back from the 90, the pistons are not credited for the going to work
mentality over here in Europe. Just saying i am a really big fan of this culture even it's not in the mentality
off our players over the past years. I hope i will have the chance to share my opinion with you all.

Welcome.

And there's not enough drinks to go around to wallow in this terrible season. Just be warned.

Europeans tend to drink more / have drinking even more engrained into daily life than Americans. So maybe he's better prepared? :)

Welcome! I wish we had a better team to chat about, but looks like we'll have a new GM, new coach, and maybe a new lottery pick on the team for next year, so there's always hope!

Welcome to the board, Wallace72. I always respect the fans who hang on in the dark days, or as it's currently referred to, "the Josh Smith era".

Which country are you in? The view from southern England is pretty grim. To compound matters the football (soccer) team i support, Fulham, are bottom of the English Premier League thanks to the new US owner Shaid Kahn (also owns the Jacksonville Jaguars) being equally as inept as Tom Gores at running a sports team. No offense to anyone but man are you yanks making my life hard this year :) Gores, Dumars, Kahn, Smith, Clint Dempsey (returned on loan for 2 months from Seatlle and was absolute crap)... It's not pretty.

Once the Pistons learn to play TEAM defense efficiently, they will be stuck in the middle. But, that takes time and seasoning.

We can always use more Pistons fans.

Too bad we're having one of those seasons. These day I console myself by watching Drummond or tracking his box scores.
