Stuckey is a ufa,so where does he end up.
Will det resign him ?
If not resigned where do you think he ends up ?

If we can sign him CHEAP,I wouldnt mind him being our backup pg.

No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

I don't know where stuckey is going to land, but I know where he isn't going to land. SVG isn't going to have any of the old mutiny crew hanging around.

I would like to resign him, but i can't see it happening.
He'd go to a playoff team to play combo guard off the bench.
Maybe portland or washington.
If we don't upgrade our guards and Stuckey could be useful.

Exactly,he isnt a bad backup at all and if we do nothing to upgrade pg-sg what other choices do we have.I would rather have stuckey than bynum,at least stuck plays defense.

We don't have room on our roster for non shooters. I can't see SVG resigning him.

Personally, I would like to sign and trade Stuckey. Because, Stuckey is not a SVG type of player and won't be kept.

S&T sounds unlikely. S&T is either for big-time players that many teams want, or else for guys going to capped-out teams. Stuck's not a player that merits a big deal on the open market, and most capped out teams could get him with various exceptions. Furthermore, zero capped-out teams would be wise to offer say a first-rounder for the right to pay a lot of money for Stuckey.

Could happen in certain situations, but we won't get more than a 2nd rounder and some scraps.

It could work for a capped out team with multiple needs that needs to use the MLE on another player, but still wants to target Stuckey. Maybe they have a player we could use.

A S&T is not realistic. In order to accomplish a S&T we'd have to keep Stuckey's rights. Doing that would trigger a $12.7 mil cap hold for Stuckey that would be in place until we finished the S&T. Attempting to S&T him would cripple our ability to do anything with our cap room this summer.

Don't want Stuckey back on this team. It's time to move on from so many of the players we've had the past few years, and he's one of them. I'd much rather have a player like Courtney Lee as our backup SG than Stuckey. And I'm sure SVG would rather have an SG/PG backup that wasn't a career 28.6% 3PT shooter.

I like Stuckey as a sparkplug off the bench. He scores in a variety of ways and is a good defender. We could easily bring him back on a similar contract and sign a shooting PG and shooting big man to go along with Singler to fix our shooting woes.

Thank you! I don't know why everyone suggests sign-and-trades involving unrestricted free agents. It's stupid. No one does a sign and trade if they can just get a player out-right.

Which is why I suggested a scenario of a capped out team that CAN'T just get him outright.
