Cheer for the Heat now>?
because the last thing i want happen is the Heat lose and Lebron leaves because he feels he cant win there anymore and goes to an enticing situation in Cleveland. Im pretty torn. Im 50/50 on them vs the Pacers now but will still cheer for the Spurs

Re: Cheer for the Heat now>?
Even with the #1 pick added to them, there is no way that LeBron returns to the Cavs.
Besides, the Spurs deserve this one. They were dead even with the Heat last year, so they might as well get the championship to recognize that fact.

I think Melo is going to Miami this summer. They'll all opt out and redo their deals to make it happen.

Re: Cheer for the Heat now>?
I've been saying LeBron never goes back. Now I think the door is open a crack.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

I hate the Thunder and Spurs, and the Pacers have no chance of beating them, so I was rooting for the Heat anyways.

Lebron ain't leaving Miami. He has the most pimp mansion on the water in the ultimate weather conditions. The owner and Riley pretty much said that keeping him is in the bag.
Anyways, I am rooting for the Heat in the playoffs.

Yes, let's all cheer for the Miami Heat. Right after we hold a rally for cancer and the IRS.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

lebron ain't leaving and I'll never cheer for Miami.
The only thing thats changed for me is my hatred of cleveland. They're basically on the same level as the heat for me right now.

There is no way LeBron is going back to Cleveland as long as Gilbert is the owner. I have friends that work at quicken loans and they have told me that Gilbert STILL refuses to use his name. LeBron can pick any place he wants. He ain't playing for that dude. Especially with the ridiculous crap that has gone on there over the past 4 years.

How about no. I'll continue rooting for anyone to beat the Heat from the East. I was hoping it would be Washington, but CMON INDY. I'll also continue to hope the Thunder some how figure out how to beat the Spurs. I'm sick of both the Spurs and Heat, would like anyone to step up

No. I want them to lose so that core will break up. If they win another one you know they are gonna reup to keep defending until they lose.
I want to see how things play out with Wade. There was some talk on ESPN radio today about Wade wanting a Kobe type deal. This would kill the Heat IMO. Wade is nowhere near what he was and he has still had some issues accepting that the Heat are Lebrons team. He is holding on to what he once was but if he tries to stiff them I can't see them keeping him at that rate with LBJ still on team. I feel like Riley is loyal but If that ESPN topic was true I can see Wade out of Miami this next year.
I don't think LeBron ever goes back to Cleveland. I don't think he can go anywhere but Cle or MIA though cause it will just crush his legacy. Great players don't switch teams every 4 years IMO.

Keep dreaming, Cavs are the perfect fit for Lebron
Irving - Waiters - Lebron - Thompson - Embiid
Jack - Miles - Bennett - Varejao - Zeller
Or the Cavs could package the #1 - Bennett and #4 Thomspon and Varajeao for Love or another big name player
And everyone wants to play with Lebron no matter what city he is in why not play with Lebron and two #1 picks and a better than decent #4 pick.
Now the NBA's end game has been realized, get Lebron back to Cleveland.
Win or loss Lebron is out of Miami. Wade is broken and Bron isnt carrying him on his back whether they have Melo or not. Bron saw what happened the last two years Wade only played 60 games or less. He is not going into the sunset carrying Wade while he gets paid 20M to miss 25% of the season

Or Pat Riley will tell Wade to take a team friendly deal or take a hike, and they will continue to build around LeBron.

Forget that the Cavs owner is the scum of the Earth who publicly attacked Lebron for leaving a team that he got sick of carrying for 7 years for a team that put actual talent around him. People dont leave Miami for a **** hole like Cleveland even if Dan Gilbert was Mark Cuban lol
The Lebron back to Cleveland thing is hilarious.

I've always rooted for the Heat anyway, at least in the East. When it comes to the Finals I wouldn't mind seeing the Spurs winning either.
Either way, I doubt Lebron leaves Miami.

I will never cheer for the Heat.
Well actually, I will root for the Heat when they play the Cavs. I hope the Cavs are mired in mediocrity no matter how many #1 picks the NBA and/or divine intervention rewards them.
But anyway, nope I'm not rooting for Miami out of the four remaining teams.
