There was this teaser back in February about a big man being in the next one.

Was that Drummond in the vid as the mystery big man all this time? The way he's decribed it sounds more like Anthony Davis at first, with the reference to New Orleans and calling him skinny. However, he said he was born in N.O., which describes neither Davis nor Drummond. So he might've just been talking about the Otis character being from N.O., not the actual player playing him. Also, he said he was skinny, but grew up sturdy as an oak, which describes Drummond more than Davis, who is still skinny as a rail.

That player looks a lot more like Davis to me though. Maybe it was him but he backed out and they got Drummond instead.

its probably davis. just for the NO connection. plus he looks skinnier than Dre in the hoody and sweats.

Greg Monroe is a skinny-ish looking big from New Orleans. I can't imagine that it's him, but just from reading the description it could be.

I've seen Drummond wear Jordans during games, and a mix of everything off the court. I'm going to assume he has no shoe deal at the moment.

Dre was tweeting something about RubyDrummond this week - maybe in reference to his shoes in this ad? Like Dorothy's ruby red slippers...

If it is Andre that would be huge for him to be in a big commercial like that, I really hope it is him. It's time for the rest of the league and the world to find out who Andre Drummond is.

But watching him blocking people and throwing down would be a lot of fun. Plus the dude is getting some hype, could be him.

My money still is on Davis, but that grew up sturdy as an oak line is more Drummond than Davis, so we shall see.

Drummond can do some bad ass dunks and stuff that would be entertaining for something like this. Seein a almost 7 footer throwing down between the leg dunks and **** is awesome.

Dre wears what he wants, he rotated throughout the season.

He wore Nike Hyperrevs for a period around All Star weekend (also wore them in the Rising Stars game).

I agree that the guy in the teaser looks too skinny to be Dre, but it is probably just some random guy.

Why would Pepsi pay Dre, Davis (or whoever else) and go out of their way to film a teaser when you can't tell who it is anyway? Seems like it would be a waste of time and money.

I really hope it's Dre! That would be awesome for him, I've noticed that his Twitter followers have increased from 150k a few months ago to 800k, so he is starting to get some attention.

And honestly, it makes more sense if it's Brow. He has more star power and name recognition than Drummond, and the New Orleans location in the commercial makes more sense for Davis.

I could've sworn dre was signed to Adidas. Looked it up and saw he's not signed by anyone. How has no one jumped on him?!

That's funny. I think Dre just retweets everything and doesn't even read what it is lol

That twitter page also tweeted this today. There seems to be nothing credible about this guy though, and considering he already flubbed one rumor, I'd say this is BS too. Though I'm curious to know how he still knew Davis was in that commercial before anyone else.
