Defensively they can be MUCH better than they were last season. Offensively, unless Monroe channels his inner Sam Perkins and extends his rage beyond the arch it's not going to ever work.

Or stan gets smith on track and all the smith doubters will jump back on board.Stan isnt the type of coach that will let smith shoot jumpers from 3 at a high clip and if smith does decide to go off on his own thing stan will bench him and not worry to much about it since he has complete control.I think smith comes in this season and plays within the system and gets back to what he does best,iam sure smith knows his stats from last year and iam sure he hears all the negative things that were said or written about him and will come in ,do what hes told and let alot of the blame fall equaly,instead of it being put squarely on his shoulders.

Smith is a moron, he has already stated he never looks at his stats, he think he has Melo's skill set, Smith stopped jacking 3's for one season, why would he change now?

He looks to blame everyone from him self.
