Kendall Williams, Keith Appling or Deonte Burton are the best remaining PGs. Williams is my favorite, but Appling could recover. Shame that he got hurt this season. Put him on our D-League team and let him put everything back together.

Fuquan Edwin is my favorite, I hope we land him. Intense defense, okay 3 point shot. I could see him getting called up if he nails down that corner 3.

Casey Prather has nominal potential to become a 3+D guy, another potential D-League candidate. Niels Griffey too, but I'm not particularly high on either kid.

Shayne Whittington could be a stretch 4, and he's a West Michigan grad, so we might as well give him a tryout.

Jerrelle Benimon is a guy who went undrafted who I want us to try. He can handle the ball, run the fast break, shoot 3's...he's a very highly skilled PF. Get him on our D-League team at least.

Travis Baeder wasn't listed but the dude can shoot the hell out of the ball, we should give him a try out.

Not much interest in the rest of these guys. Maybe Patrick Young can do his best Big Ben impersonation in the D-League with his body that's like a sculpture of a Greek god.

Appling
Baeder
Edwin
Bennimon
Whittington

It could be an entertaining squad. Also might as well pick up that Russian big guy Artem Klimenko since he went undrafted.

^An undrafted seven-footer has to have real flaws.

Jabari Brown, Patric Young, CJ Fair, Khem Burch, Jordan Bachynski, Melvin Ejim are cats I'd be interested in. Especially first three.

We can offer up a lot of playing time to 3's and 5's especially - hopefully kids want to come to our squad for the PT/exposure if nothing else in that regard.

There could definitely be some gems that are worth giving a non-guaranteed contract to and have them play in the summer league for Detroit.

Nothing, and that's the problem. He never improved beyond just having the name of a former great player.

Holy crap I totally forgot he was in this draft. How did he go from America's darling to undrafted? I thought he would atleast be in the 35-45 range. I remember a few years ago when people were posting like JMM was the second coming.

Half of those players would have been drafted last yr.

Some of them could have been first round picks. KCP would have been a late first/early second round pick in this draft.

What does a prospect like Gary Harris have over KCP?

Dudes sleeping on CJ Fair..That boy is ready to play now, can't believe he ain't get drafted..I know senior's aren't really a hot commodity these days but I saw quite a few get drafted last night and thought fa'sho he would've been too. We need to give him a look for the summer league squad and see what he can do. The boy might have a helluva chip on his shoulder.

CJ Fair just signed with Dallas..I knew it wouldn't take long for somebody to snatch him, a lot of teams are going to regret passing up on em. I see him being their new Josh Howard/Marquis Daniels this season. Unexpected late/unsigned pick that finds his niche' and sticks around for a while.

McAdoo was a big name recruit but he was also 17 when he was hyped up. Half the top HS recruits don't end up making the leap to being real players, shouldn't be a surprise by now.

(Check this list from 2008, more than half of the top 30 never played a minute in the NBA:

It's like that every year.)

I'd like to bring in Craft & Patric Young. They don't have much upside but they will work hard and may have some NBA level skill in certain areas.

I have always been a a fan of Deandre Kane, though I admit I have not seen a ton of him. I get the big knock that he's 25, but I didn't see him listed on anyone's list, and I didn't see him on any mock drafts. Can anyone more familiar fill me in on what I missed with him? I thought the kid looked like a tank
