They got the 1st pick of the draft 2 years in a row with ridiculous odds....some conspiracy theorists (such as myself) might think it was compensation for loosing Lebron. BUT NOW they get him back. Someone tell me this isn't real. Detroit has no chance in this division once Melo goes to the Bulls.

That said, it has been funny to watch the flood of "good for Cleveland, they deserve it!" comments on Facebook from casual fans. Yes, poor Cleveland who tanked their way to #1 picks 3 of the last 4 seasons -- about time some good FINALLY came their way

Ive always been indifferent to that team to be honest, as a Michigan fan im kind of made to dislike any Ohio team, however "hate" I would put in a different category. I hate the Cavs right now as much as I have hated any team in my life.

They didn't deserve any of those 1st picks and neither Lebron returning.

I've hated the Cavs since they became relevant with Lebron. I've lived in Ohio my entire life and growing up I didn't think twice about them, mainly because you almost never saw Cavs stuff (Browns and Indians all over, never Cavs).

Then they got Lebron and overnight there was Cavs stuff EVERYWHERE. And suddenly the Cavs had "THE BEST FANS IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE". And then Lebron beat us single handedly and turned Dumars into a 13 year old school girl of a gm and I was faced with daily arguments from uneducated NBA fans who thought Mo Williams was a top 5 pg.

So yeah, I hate them, but no more today than yesterday, now it's just going to be more satisfying when they still don't win a title.

They still won't win a title unless Lebron is de facto GM.

I can't stand Cleveland and now it's worse.
3 number 1's and a couple other high lottery picks, and now Lebron jumps back on the wagon because Miami were finished... It's infuriating

Im from Akron and absolutely despise Cleveland and Lebron. My most hated team in the NBA by far, always has been

It doesn't make a big difference. Instead of Miami being the top team, the Cavs are now except without a proven coach. Our division has two greats coaches and X's and O's have been proven to stop Lebron. It'll be interesting to see what Miami does now. I don't believe they're a big threat anymore since they'll be losing Lebron and Bosh. It's possible that they offer Monroe the max but I think we match it.

On the bright side, other teams can win the lottery now.


It's also going to be pretty funny if Westbrook & Durant fully take over the league now and knock out a 3 peat or more.

Maybe, but the Cavs had a better record then Detroit last season. Still got the 1st pick lol. Hey maybe its our turn to hop on the tank train a while...need Gores to adopt an handicapped child and see if we can get some of that luck.

I can't believe LeBron would want to go back from a basketball stand point. That organization has showed time after time that they are completely incapable of building a championship quality team.

They have Irving and a bunch of what ifs with potential.

Last year was the year Gores needed to call in that "remember how I bought a franchise in a small market" favor.

Now unless Drummond really becomes THE premier big man we are staring at

I hope I win the lottery...I don't expect either of us to get our wish.

I don't hate any team more than the Lakers. It's predominantly because of that rabid bandwagon during the early 00's, and its ever recurring remains that appear from time to time. I don't know any Cavs bandwagon fans, I have some annoying "Heat" fans, but I was able to tolerate them.

LeBron's journey though the NBA is touching. I wish him the best, although ultimately I want to see some more titles in Detroit. He's won enough.

Always hated cavs, now I hate them even more. Cavs don't deserve anything, it's like the basketball gods are giving them everything and they still fail. Cavs will not succeed with their coaching staff/front office. I have respect for Lebron but I wish nothing but failure from the cavs. Pissed that I'm going to be seeing varejao on espn again
