Can we get in the Love trade?

I might have posted this before somewhere, but it looks like the deal or Love is going to happen with Cleveland for sure. Is it just me (probably) or is there an opportunity for us to get involved? Wouldn't Smith replace Love great at PF for Minny? And couldn't we use Bennett more than Minny?

I would think the Wolves are looking to rebuild, so Smith probably isn't a target for them.

I was thinking the exact same thing. They could use Smith to try and get competitive quicker rather than waiting for Bennett to do something. Plus I don't think Bennett will thrive in Minnesota, there will be too much attention on developing Wiggins.
Bennett needs to be nurtured and groomed, and there's no perfect place than here with Van Gundy. I have no doubt he'll pan out under him.
For Minnesota, Josh Smith, Wiggins, and Dieng could become a dominant defensive front. With Rubio running the show and some shooters, they'd be a good coach away from having something special.
problem is, Minnesota said it wants Thaddeaus Young to replace Love. I'd take him over Smith. I can see Philly sneaking in and stealing Bennett and taking on Martin's deal.
Josh Smith needs to have a great first half to this season.

Josh Smith needs to have a great first half to this season.
That would be awesome and give us some real options at the trade deadline.

Let's hire DD to be the Pistons GM. He'd be able to trade Smith & KCP for Love and Love would be excited to move to Detroit.
On a serious note, I'd rather jump in with Monroe.
Cleveland in- Love
Wolves in- Wiggins, Monroe
Pistons in- Bennett, Corey Brewer, Barea, Memphis 1st (from Cleveland)

Off the top of my head, the Prince deal was a 3 team trade.

Ya I guess I have pretty bad memory if the last one was last season. Seems like forever since jose was on the Pistons...
