Positional Battles: C

The Detroit Pistons have a number of potential positional battles this year. The main question I want to focus on is:
Who do you think should be starting for the Detroit Pistons by midseason?
In this thread, we will be discussing perhaps the fiercest positional battle of them all, Centers. Assuming our team is set, which C would you like to see in the starting role by midseason?

Andre Drummond (AKA The Drum Major)
The 9th best player from the 2012 NBA Draft, according to NBA GMs.
Had 12th best PER in history of rookies
Had the 9th most Offensive Rebounds in a Season in LEAGUE HISTORY.....As a 2nd year player getting just 32 min./game
OLYMPIAN

Aaron Gray
Has led his team to the Playoffs in 2 of his 7 seasons, pouring in 3.5/3.5/.3/.3 during those playoff games.
Before the advent of the hit TV show, Googling "Gray's Anatomy" gave you images of Aaron that can't be unseen.*
*-Blatant lie.

Gray will make a push, but I believe Drummond will be able to keep him at bay.

I think that Gray will be the starter from day 1 and that it will be very difficult for Dre to take his spot in the rotation.

Gray clearly showed last year with the Kings that he is capable of starting for any team in the NBA. He is an offensive specialist and gifted on the defensive end.

Gray will have a breakout season, no way that Dre will still be starting by mid-season.

I will be disappointed if Gray sees the floor at all.

With Aaron starting, we should win enough blow-outs to give Andre 15 mpg.
Also, I'd like to see Aaron go out with that white girl from iCarly. Both of them.

We have no chance at Vernie "Fire and Doom" Macklin. He's the 2nd best center in the league, so he probably wants to be "the man" on some other team.

Gray is too important to leave languishing on the bench for a whopping 15 minutes. He needs to average 40 mpg at a minumum. Also, if I don't see at least 2 windmill dunks from him starting at the foul line then he's not being used appropriately.
Just sayin'

This is a tough question...and I don't think it's a black and white one or the other answer. There's a gray area.

LOL! You guys are a trip. Good parody. I'm hoping Drummond comes back with Joakim Noah like effort playing big on defense and being a force on the boards and on offense.
