not a bad player to have for the vet min. he should focus strictly on becoming a 3 point shooting specialist.

For the right salary, he's a player worth having. The problem was his salary vs his contributions here in Detroit.

I'm not sure though, he's lazy and the only thing he seems to bring is shooting and honestly he's not even that great at it. He also can't even shoot free throws anymore lol.

Hes pure trash, complete liability on the court unless hes hitting 3s which is all hes for seeing as he just camps outside.

I wish I was Charlie V man... I would love to get paid millions of dollars to sit on the bench and never play. That's the life right there.

He saw the court in less than half of the games the Pistons played over the past 3 seasons. And rightfully so, we had young players that needed the court time. But considering what his game was, it's hard to get into any sort of rhythm when you're on the bench for weeks at a time.
I'd lean towards the expertise in two organizations that are borderline contenders, over the way he performed in a terribly run organization.

That should be the Beijing Clippers and Tibet Mavericks.
I'd be concerned he was going to start trying and turn himself into the stretch 4 we've needed for a while, then I remembered who it was.
Probably chose the Mavs because they told him he'd never have to play behind Dirk and Parsons playing some 4 while the Clippers told him they could use a stretch big.

Charlie V has a role in the NBA as a spot up shooter off the bench. He was terrible for what we paid him but he't not a liability at the vets min.

I dislike charlie just as much as the next guy,but he did have talent at one time and playing on a contending team with strong players, can give off an intoxicating effect.I wouldnt be suprised if he became a useful 3pt specialist off the bench.

He'll effectively fill the same role in Dallas as Detroit- barely ever playing, and waiving a lot of towels.

Why would anyone waive a towel? They're always useful. I need some new towels; maybe I should check the towel waiver wire.

I read the title as CV getting o-fers.
He certainly did get plenty of those.
