It will be a tough game. Denver's natural advantage of the high altitude. It's a road game. No Moose.
I don't believe it's an automatic loss, but it's not going to be easy.

Probably a loss but I just want to see our team being competitive and efficient even if it is a loss.

Why did we play only 7 preseason games?

This will be a good test for SVG and to see where the team chemistry is at.
We're missing a lot of offense in Monroe and Meeks and both KCP and Jennings have injury concerns.
If we put up a good show and compete til the end I'll be happy.

So what your saying is, is that a fan cannot have realistic expectations? This team, is bad. It has some nice pieces, but its bad.
I expect every game to be a loss, and its up to the players, and our shiny new coach to prove otherwise. I am a fan, but one with realistic expectations. Burned to many times by hype, and stats.
I also expect this to be a loss, unless Drummond just goes nuts.

Questioning fandom when someone realistically thinks their team might lose, albeit competitively, might be a little overboard. But I question the fact that you expect every game to be a loss. First of all, even if that were true (it ain't ), what type of self loathing mentality is that? Every game?1
Secondly, you probably shouldn't complain about any losses, since they're doing exactly what you expect. You wouldn't want to contradict yourself.

I think it's going to be a good game. It probably could go either way, but I am high on Denver this year. Ty Lawson will give us problems, I want to see how Afflalo and Gallo look
I think that the Monroe out for this game is overblown, won't Denver play a bit smaller, like Hickson/Faired at PF?
Very very interesting first game. Both teams have a long way to go and a lot to figure out.

Our biggest problem in this one will be Lawson destroying Jennings no defense ass.

its not a contradiction to complain about a loss, that doesn't even make sense. It would be a contradiction to start expecting wins. Without complaining, I wouldn't even know how to watch Pistons basketball.
I'll start expecting wins, when, as I said before, they prove it to me. Until then, as of now, we are 0-82. maybe we will start off 1-81, but I wouldn't place a bet on it.

I hope Drummond plays 48 minutes. the alternative is not pretty.
if the last preseason game is any indication, joel Anthony will play whatever C minutes that Drummond doesn't (they split the time 29:54/18:06 which is exactly 48 minutes) so hopefully Drummond plays monster minutes.

Hopefully Dre will have worked through the cumulative fatigue of a brutal training camp and start the season with fresh legs. Probably hard for the guys to feel mentally fresh when they've so much new stuff thrown at them - and so little time to integrate it all.
I'm more concerned about whether Drummond can keep himself out of foul trouble. Maybe, if SVG can see when his focus/intensity wanes, he can sub him out for a bit -- that's when he seems to commit silly fouls.

You expecting every game is a loss isn't a realistic expectation lol.. But whatever I'm not here to argue. You do you bro!

KCP may be out this game according to SVG, he still isn't able to practice. Cartier Martin may start. Without KCP and Monroe, I think its a loss
