Celtics finalized their opening-night roster Monday, two days ahead of their regular-season opener. Will Bynum, acquired in a trade with the Detroit Pistons just 10 days ago, was one of the unsurprising cuts.
the Anthony trade shows the front office finally knows how to make the right trades in our favor for our team.
glad to see no more dumar trades !!! giving our players and draft picks away for nothing.

We didn't need a 4th point guard, we did need a dedicated backup center behind Drummond.
I guess we "won" the trade, but when you're talking about the 15th man, there's not much flavor to savor.

I hope Will gets picked up by a contender and gets to play a little as 5th guard or something. I didn't love him on the Pistons, but there has to be a place for a guy like him in the NBA -- the days he's on can be some pretty awesome instant offense.

I wish for Bynums sake he could have landed in Chicago, but they seem to be set at PG.
I hope he finds a spot. He could still be useful on the right team.

Only three teams are carrying less than the roster maximum of 15 right now. So he could have to wait around for awhile.

If this trade didn't fit a Pistons need for a backup Center, it just worked out perfectly. I always admired Will Bynum for those games where he did blow up and do great things. It was his inconsistencies which killed him here. But, he played with heart and was great for the community. I don't think he will have a problem landing somewhere. I would like to see him in Orlando or with the Lakers.

I guess it did work out well for us. Though I will miss the alley-oops from Bynum and the instant offense, I understand the positional requirements of the roster and obviously Gray wasn't going to work out as our backup center. I'm unsure about Bynum's contract length, but isn't Anthony an expiring?
