Lets get this kid. Whatever it takes. He fits in this era of point guards and would fit with SVG.

Hmm, probably not. Jackson is more of a score first PG, if we get a new PG it needs to be Rondo.

He's going to get overpaid like crazy next season and I hope it isn't from us.

I like him and I think he's the type of player Stan goes after. I can see him coming here with a nice paycheck depending on how the Monroe situation goes and if we make some trades. Regardless, I would pay him at least the amount Jennings is getting paid. 7-10 mill sounds like his range.

Keep in mind Jennings is an expiring contract next year so his contract is actually good for now. I would keep Jennings this year unless we get a good offer for him. But Smith on the other hand, he needs to go. I'll take role players for him but I'm not sure if we can get that. Role players would make this team much better than having Smith.

You clearly didn't catch any of his game tonight....he was passing the ball better than most "pass-first" point guards that are in the league....

He couldn't actually hit a shot tonight, but then he'd fit right in here...

But is only one game. Could say that about Jennings last game too. Until he can do this on a regular basis then we can say he's a good passer.

Here's a good article on it:

I definitely wouldn't trade for him because the Thunder would want too much, and I probably wouldn't be willing to pay him enough to be a serious contender for him. I do fear that he wI'll be overpaid dramatically for his ability.

I still haven't seen enough of Jackson to really have an opinion yet. I watched him in his return on Monday and he wasn't impressive, but that could have been attributed to rust.

Hopefully Jackson takes this opportunity with Durant and Westbrook out and essentially auditions himself to the rest of the league. It's going to be a Bledsoe type situation when he was with the Clips and people will wonder how he will perform when he's "the man" on a team.

One thing the league can bet on- they won't match a large offer for Jackson.

I don't think blowing our load on one player is really going to make that much difference if that guy is Jackson.

This team has a lot of flaws & while he might fix a few of them he doesn't solve our biggest need on the wing

I like him!! He's a athletic scoring point (not a chucker at all) who can penetrate and score from the perimeter.

Putting up stats on a team getting skunked is not exactly a high priced free agent. I haven't watched him play enough to see if he can do all this against elite talent on a solid team yet though either. At least we can view him getting minutes over a solid 10-20 game period. I wouldn't pay him Jennings type of money though regardless.

He's going to want the max which is a vast overpay considering other PGs that are far better than him like Bledsoe, Lowery who got similar ranges of 12 mil and up. No way he's near anywhere those types of guys.

how do u figure that? who was Bledsoe before he got to prove himself in Phoenix? Who was Lowry at 24 years old? we're they $12M players then? definitely not. these next few weeks should give us a better assessment of who he is and what he's capable of as a starter. I already see a very coachable kid with good smarts and talent.

Bledsoe vastly overrated himself which is why nobody offered him near the max as evident by his play this season thus far. Isaiah Thomas has outplayed Bledsoe in Phoenix. I don't get all these average players demanding starting jobs and max money.

Reggie Jackson is nothing near a star player yet people assume he will get max or big bucks. He will be lucky to get Jennings money. If anyone pays more than that, they are overpaying for an average point guard.
