G17 ~ Warriors (13-2) @ Pistons (3-13) ~ 3:30 PM EST

alright guys, we are playing not only the team with the best record in the nba (ok, they're a half game behind Memphis) but they are also the best defensive team in the league. considering we have been one of the worst offensive teams in the league so far this could get out of hand quickly. the warriors play at the fastest pace in the league, yet give up the 7th least points per game and keep their opponents to a league-low 41% shooting from the field. considering we shoot the second lowest FG% in the league at 41.5% I would be surprised if we scored much more than 85 points.

we will need Jennings back desperately if we want to have much chance at winning, since our offense has struggled a lot since he's been out despite Drummond posting some monster lines. regardless of who plays, it would be good to see a competitive game and if we sneak out a win it could be great for this team's (and this forum's) morale...

STARTERS
Brandon Jennings
KCP
Josh Smith
Greg Monroe
Andre Drummond

Steph Curry
Klay Thompson
Harrison Barnes
Draymond Green
Andrew Bogut

let's go pistons!

Certain loss. Why not try something different? Please start Dinwiddie and Butler.

This is a definite loss unless Josh Smith actually turns into Melo and his shots go in and Dre turns into Moses Malone for a brief miracle.

Might as well give the young guns some burn, recall Mitchell up again and have him and Dinwiddie get baptized by fire by playing 30+ minutes.

This game will be our 8th loss in a row

Dreading the Philly game
- Philly plays Spurs, Wolves, OKC before us and they are 0-16

Will we be the team Philly beats for their 1st win of the season?

Curry is gonna have so much airspace with augustin guarding him it'll be like he's by himself

Bogut is a big mean dude and I don't think dre will have another 20/20 game

I'm seeing a 14-12 game

Will Jennings play? Why is Josh Smith still a starter? I will be watching this game. I want to see how Monroe and Drummond work together cause I just can't picture it in my head.

Exposed by teams that move laterally and swing the ball... SVG knows what's up.

Well this is a loss for sure, better just enjoy good basketball played by the Warriors. Hopefully Dre has a good game against one of the toughest defensive centers of the league. I would also like Dinwiddie to get a lot of minutes. It's not like were winning this one anyway.

Jennings was a full participant in practice yesterday. Id say he will be back.

Originally the decision to start smith was acceptable because martin was out and it then became the difference between shifting it bigger and giving jerebko some minutes or keeping it normal and giving dinwiddie backup 2 minutes.
But even though jonas has been fine, it has to be changed asap. It clearly doesnt work and there is no reason to keep this **** going.

This is an easy loss for sure, even with gs at the end of a 5 gm road trip. And david lee is a chance to come back for this game too. Was scheduled to return sometime on the trip and still hasnt. Kinda doesnt make sense to bring him back any earlier than needed to a game that should be an easy win though so he may not

I was at the DET@GS game last year, and they blew our asses out in the FIRST QUARTER and coasted.

This one could be really ugly.

They'll beat the Wolves I think. I also think we win our next three AFTER getting blown out this afternoon.

I'd be surprised if we're not losing by 10+ by the end of the first quarter

Warriors fan here. Our local beat writers have said that Lee's probably going to be back this Tuesday when the team finally returns home to play the Magic, so unless Kerr ends up changing his mind (which he did when he brought Sean Livingston back in the season opener), you probably won't see Lee this afternoon.

I'm pretty sure the Dubs will still be able to handle the Pistons with relative ease.

Well, he's played a total of seven minutes this year, so they're used to playing without him. He ought to give the bench a nice scoring kick when he gets back, though.

Did Stan Van make the right decision to take the Piston gig and total power versus the Warrior coaching gig? I think our gig would be much more fulfilling to build his team from scratch, but bloody hell would coaching Golden State be fun given all their weapons. Stan would love that shooting...

Seems he just wanted a challenge.

Some coaches would get exposed if they weren't in fancy situations.

Warriors wouldn't give him authority over roster moves

Jennings is playing today guys, btw

Singler starts, Monroe is on the bench.
