Worth the risk for either team?

Ugh. I know Drummond has a lot to work on, but Parker's upside is just a scorer with some size. Even if he's a lot more likely to get to his peak than Drummond is (and that's probably true), his peak just isn't as impactful.

If Parker could hit a 3 then I'd be tempted. As it stands now, no thanks.

Hmm...I think Jabari will definitely reach his potential, which is like a Melo-esque and Rudy Gay-esque player. Like the above said, if he can consistently knock down the 3 ball, I'd probably think into it.

No

Folks gotta stop jumping on bandwagons man. Drummmond is going to be a nice defensive 'Ben Wallace' piece in the future. Give the kid time.

Can we not do trades that would only happen on 2K?

Some statements are so ridiculous they should result in a timeout, so the poster can sit in a corner and think about what he wrote.

Detroit fans might distantly contemplate this, Miwaukee fans say no quickly
i think they're comparable as players/prospects
but...
Drummond will get his max raise sooner
they have Sanders, who does most of what Drummond does

Then Bucks fans are silly people. In no world does any GM in the league (except maybe Cousins in Sacramento), not trade Jabari in a blink of an eye for Drummond.

The Bucks would be all over that one. Sanders is nowhere near the player Drummond is and will become.

He's right, though. The money issue is a big one. Two additional cheap years for Parker is like an extra 20 million in your pocket, which makes a big difference.

Drummond will never be on Wallace's level defensively.

Yeah, the Pistons need more tweener forwards, especially at the expense of a young, healthy, athletic centre...

The trend seems to be going away from the traditional low post center. I don't think Milwaukee would have any interest in trading Parker. He looks like a future All-Star.

Drummond may be unable to develop an offensive game and make 60% of his FTs...so I would have to consider this trade. He's unlikely to be a Ben Wallace type defender/rim protector (Wallace was unreal at his peak - can't see Drummond with that same drive)...so his value, although significant, may cap out at a lower level than most think.

Parker has tremendous upside. Sky could be the limit for him. I'd have to think his ceiling is higher than Drummond...whether he makes it happen is questionable, but it's the same for Drummond.

Like 'em both. Difficult call.

If were talking about who has a higher ceiling then I dont see how that couldn't be Drummond.

Wake up people, Dre's isn't slumping anymore now that we've stopped trying to overwhelm him with all of the offensive responsibility we were giving him at the beginning of the season. He's had a 27/14/5/4 and a 26/20 game within the past 5 games. He played really poorly against GS and LA, but pretty much all of our guys did, and he didn't get as mins as he usually does. Dre's still only 21.

I have my own issues with Drummond, mostly defensively and his lack or urgency at times.

However, In no way would I trade him now, he is way to young to give up on this early. Plus he's been playing better lately.
