Lakers pick is top 5 protected and even if it wasnt they wouldn't trade it for that.

There is a trade thread for stuff like this.

First trade don't work, LAL traded their '15 first (protected) to PHX for Nash.
Second trade don't work (imo), because OKC just saw what PJ3 can do when healthy and it's a whole **** more than Hill's contributions over Perkins.

Honestly, this isn't original or clever either. Everyone keeps coming up with very similar suggestions (at least the Laker one is similar lol) in the trade thread with the lakers/OKC :/. A lot of people really want PJ3 and Lin I guess

I don't see Josh Smith's name in there anywhere, therefore we will still be bad.

This would be straight up robbery, just not realistic.

How about Brandon Jennings for Mario Chalmers and unprotected draft picks.
Brandon Jennings can score a lot of points for Miami and three time Champs Wade and Bosh can teach him how to play unselfish basketball.
Detroit gets someone who knows how to play team basketball and an unprotected pick to start rebuilding. Win-win for both teams.

The trade that I would like to see is us send Josh Smith and Tony Mitchell to Toronto for Chuck Hayes, Landry Fields, and Tyler Hansbrough.

Why for Toronto: I honestly think Josh Smith is a good fit there. They are only giving up bench players.
Why for Detroit: addition by subtraction. Hayes would probably end up getting waived or sent to another team so the Pistons don't have to waive anyone. Tyler and Landry give the Pistons 2 hustle guys who are expiring deals.

To be honest I dont care about grammer in a post but if you cant make a thread title correctly you should be banned for 48 hrs. IMHO too many threads are started by posters who have had 1 too many of whatever substance they take to mask their own loserdom.

haha, honestly i am probably the biggest culprit of mispelling on my post, but i agree that Thread titles is another story. He's either high or 8 years old

There is no blowing this up, there's Monroe walking for free to a winning team this offseason which makes us even worse next year & then Drummond will likely leave in a few more years.

This is Josh Smith's team, it's what we signed up for & now 2 head coaches have agreed with. Nothing but losing ahead folks!
