Blowout loss. Dirk's Mavs have been a terror for the Pistons, even the Going To Work era Pistons usually couldn't get a win against them.

A little off-topic- Hornets are looking to ship Lance Stephenson out. I know he isn't an ideal fit for Detroit, but I'd hope we'd at least hear Detroit's name floated out there as an interested party. Alas, nothing.

Why? Lance has a bad attitude and cannot shoot. He wouldn't be any more successful here than he is with the Bobcats.

Yeah, I'd like if Detroit started leaking they were interested in just about everything maybe it would help show that we want to shake some stuff up.
With the Hornets and Stephenson, I imagine they would want KCP. If I was them, I would.

If we were 100% on Monroe signing, then a trio of Drum/Roe/Lance would be interesting but that other wing and PG would need to be knockdown shooters. There's a lot to like with Lance, he brings that fire and won't back down... can act as PBH. Can create, drive, draw fouls... but there's still the omfgwtf moments where he tries to do too much.
I like him better than Smith...

I suggested Stephenson in the off-season due to his IDGAF Attitude.

At some point we're gonna need a dude like that. I'm guessing SVG ain't ready to taint his locker room with that while he's trying to implement his systems

I don't think Smith has the same attitude. Hypothetically, if we swapped Smith for Stephenson, things would look better.
Now if we just added Stephenson to Smith/Jennings that'd be funny.

I hate the clippers. I know it's going to be a loss, but i'd love a win.

Clippers are probably the least liked playoff team in recent memory. There's something about them that I just don't like and it seems to resonate well with other fans too. Either them or the Rockets.

Chalk this one as a loss, let's focus on the tank a bit.

I hope Andre dominates Deandre thats all I hope for out of this game. We have like a 10% chance of winning anyway we need to get back to our losing ways for this top pick.

Would you really feel better if the headline read, "Clippers, Pistons, Pacers and Nets interested in Stephenson"? I don't want the guy on this team so faux interest does nothing for me.

Just want the team to be active on the trade market. Regardless of their goals for this season are- whether they still want to compete, or go the course and lose, they should be looking to either upgrade their roster or dump big contracts.

It's as if they're paralyzed by all the options they have at their disposal and can't make a decision on their short term direction. They're long term goal is obvious, build a contender.

Should they do it just for the attention and appease the fans? Certainly not. They should do it because their team is 5-19 and the worst shooting outfit in the league.
