I live in Toronto (going to the game on January 12th!) so it would be great for me if the pistons won today. I get to hear all the jokes about the pistons so it would be nice if I could serve people here some humble pie . plus, if caboclo scores on the pistons i'll never hear the end of it.

Its going to be sad when they're will be more Raptors fans then Pistons fans at the palace friday. Should be another loss towards the tank But Dre has been on the rise lately.

I just hope that Dre dominates the hell out of Val.

I feel your pain brother. I live in Toronto too (I'm going to Jan 12th AND Jan 25th ) and now that they are finally good i hear all the nonsense. The raptors have a good sized fan base, but there are so many bandwagoners in this city. It gets very frustrating.
Anyway, I think this could be a good game. Our "big 3" should take advantage of their lack of depth at the big spots. If KCP is aggressive and actually makes a few shots, we shot be in good shape.
There is also a very good chance Lowry destroys us tho...

I been ok with losing but I hope we win this game cause Raptor fans are really annoying.

Raptors fans are annoying, but I can't stay mad at them. Their team has been bad for so long, and they were the 'feel good' team of last season.

That being said, Detroit can probably be competitive against them. But, I doubt Detroit gets the win.

Drummond putting up 16/15 the past five games...I have a feeling he's gonna explode and go off for a career night.

We have 3 championships and have been relevent alot longer than there 2yr run (just alittle ammo if you need it lol),I wont hate they have a good team,but not finals material.There are maybe 3-4 posters I can stand over there,the rest like to jump at any chance to knock us ie dre,losing,market,the real north,etc.

Think Andre will be an all-star this year

Doubt it, He would probably need the fan vote for that to happen. He could probably get the coaches vote though if he can keep playing at this level.

apparently people over at the raps board are organizing tickets/rides to get people to the game.

it's almost a shame that the game is on a Friday, I doubt there would be as many people making the trip over if the game was on a weeknight.

for Christmas I got my friend tickets to the raps-cavs game in march, the seats are in like the 9th row in one of the 300's sections. for my christmas gift he got me tickets to the game on the 12th and I told him not to spend anymore than I spent on the cavs tickets. we're sitting 8 rows behind the pistons bench lol.


one good thing about the pistons sucking this year, I suppose.

Yeah the pistons have always been a non premium team since i've been here, so tickets are never hard to come by. haha
I sat court side once during the T-Mac days, it was pretty cool. The raptors sucked back then and T-Mac scorched them. Everyone around me was booing him, and i just sat back at laughed.
This year the tickets are crazy compared to previous years.

A freind of mine has season tickets in the lower bowl and he said he'll take me on the 12th, but i'll be sitting in the nose bleeds for the other game.

Row2 floor seats are like $300 for the palace last time I checked, so I'm hoping to attend a home game this year like that

No Derozan, that could help. But Lou Williams has been lighting it up this year I guess ... sooo. Idk. Our perimeter defense is inconsistent to say the least.

There will be plenty of open seats for them. Hopefully they enjoy their trip.

I'm going down to Michigan for the Bulls game on a saturday night in march and i got 50 tickets in the lower bowl.
I think it was section 112. That is unheard of. No other team has that kind of deal.

Raptors win…….they play harder + more talented.

the thing about the raps is that the team is incredibly deep, and they have a number of guys that provide valuable services. lou Williams scores off the bench, landry fields is actually a good defender with good size, chuck hayes does the dirty work and plays hard, etc.

I honestly think it will be a test of the benches. the raps are a lot deeper so they definitely have an advantage there.
