this will be our biggest test so far this season and the spurs play great team basketball. this is a busy week for us, with two back-to-backs on the road against good teams, but thankfully SVG has been limiting player's minutes recently so the guys should be fairly fresh.

they are always resting their players so it's still up in the air who is going to play for them but right now kawhi leonard is confirmed to be out and tony parker is questionable - i'll update any other injury news when it comes out.

These Texas games are scary. The spurs are the spurs and Dallas has one of, if not, the best starting 5 in the league for me.
I'm not too worried about the result, i just hope the boys can continue playing the right way.

If we come out like we did against sac in the first half,anyone of those good western team will make us pay and more than likely take advantge to put us in the hole and not let us out.We need to come out energetic,keep the ball mov9ing and play good defense period.sas/gs/dal all scare me,they are all good shooting team with guys who can go off,and sas/mavs have the experience.I really want to see the duncan vs dre matchup.

The best part of this game, and the following bunch, is that we all will know the trajectory of this team. Getting blown out, competing, winning, we will all know everything there is to know, definitively.

I'm personally hoping this teams for real, but I'm thinking it's a fluke, and the Spurs crush any hopes we, or the players had like a boot would crush an ant. The boot doesn't care, or even know it's stepping on its victim.

I doubt it, the spurs haven't played since Saturday and won't play again until Friday, so having two days of rest before and two days after doesn't bode well for any players getting 'Popped'. parker has a legit injury so he may sit, who knows. either way the mavs should be a tougher test, especially on the backside of a B2B.

The last five games sure as hell aren`t a fluke. I don`t even care about the results, the team is obviously better than before and there is no way they fall back to playing as crappy as with Smith. No way.

But it even if we are drastically improved, you gotta remember we were maybe the worst team in the league before the Smith trade. Getting rid of him does not make us a great team, but it makes us a decent team. That does not mean we should win SAS, the Mavs or GSW at road. Thus I`m happy with 3 good games, no matter what the record will be. The record this year does not mean much anyway.

I couldn't go along with it being just a fluke either because of the change in the team's demeanor, which now appears more 'team-like,' if you know what I mean. He Who Shall Not Be Named's removal aside, Jennings being "freed" (please don't go nuts Brandon), Meeks return, more playing time for JJ, KCP's continued growth, etc., along with improved defensive effort and ball movement are producing better spacing and shots. Almost like they've hit some kind of tipping point.

SAS seems the logical place to hope for a win, given their age and injury situation. Dallas has a lot of talent and is smoking hot at the moment. However, Texas trips have a history of being tough.

If they just keep helping one another and coming to compete every night, I'll be very pleased about the team. IMHO it's too soon to draw conclusions about how much better they are.

The spurs main defensive focus is to shut down the paint and run people off the 3 point line , forcing teams to beat them with a midrange game , should be a great test for us. Not going to get to crazy on preditions just want a solid effort on this trip.

Whether Parker plays or not beating the Spurs will be a difficult task.

Spurs have won games handily without Parker, Duncan, and Leonard.

Cory Joseph has been playing pretty amazing recently.

If we are going to get a win in Texas I think we steal one from the Mavs who are riding a winning streak but are prone to have weird losses here and there when Parsons doesnt shoot well.

Maybe, maybe not. He will be rusty, and coming off an injury that affects his movement and speed. He could be a step slow, and allow Jennings to have a better game.
