Jrue Holiday is injured tonight and will not play, leaving tyreke evans to handle most of the point guard duties along with nate wolters (who they just signed to a 10-day contract).

it'll be interesting to see how we deal with their bigs, ryan Anderson is a pure stretch four, davis can do it all (except shoot threes) and asik is a garbage man.

I expect to see a lot jerebko tonight, he'll be guarding Anderson who camps out at the three point line (he's taken half of his shots from there).

at the end of the day you can't take any opponent lightly but I am confident we can pull out a win tonight.

go pistons!

All I can say for sure, is that this is a game between 2 teams with sub .500 records.

I am concerned about this one. Davis is a bad matchup for Monroe and Davis/Ask will make it very hard for Jennings (and everyone else) to get to the hoop. Hope Drummond is up for this game- we need him to win the rebounding battle

New Orleans doesn't really have anyone with enough size to effectively keep Drummond off the boards.

Omer Asik, a strong 7 footer says otherwise- he's averaging 10 boards in 25 minutes. Davis isn't as strong as Drummond but he's the same height & length. The pair are almost as good as Drumroe is on the glass.

I'm less concerned about who the Pels have to keep him off the board and more concerned with his past few games. He's looked a bit disinterested, hope he changes that tonight.

Asik I agree might be able to but there now way Davis can box out Dre.

Pelicans are still just 3 games out of the playoffs in the West so they have a lot to fight for still. What's crazy about New Orleans is that they are 14-11 against the West (pretty good!) but just 4-8 against the much weaker East which doesn't make much sense. They also have been much better at home (12-5) then they have been on the road (just 6-14).

Considering those numbers, and how we've played lately this is definitely a "should win" game for us and would be a bit disappointing not to get the W.

i hope Drummond can bounce back from a few lackluster performances. The pelicans frontcourt is legit.
should be a well matched game. it helps that Holiday is out.

For the Hawks game, yeah. I'm going off of what Stan said pre-game before the Brooklyn game, Stan said Dre told him he felt good to go. I'm sure he'll bounce back tonight.

Wow, talk about a terrible fan base.

I expect a win tonight. If Boston can beat them on Monday, no reason we can't get a win on Wednesday.

Looking forward to this game and also to seeing who will win the battle in the paint. I reckon our shooting (obviously) needs to be real good tonight (especially from deep) if we want to have any real offensive impact. Fingers crossed that Davis doesn't end up having a block party.

C'mon Pistons! Let's get it done.

Quite funny because Canadians have a sterling reputation as being polite and friendly. Essentially the polar opposite of the Raps board.

Then again, it seems full of 12 year olds obsessed with anime. So, there's that.

I have several Canuck friends, and I can attest to this. They would apologize for being in the road, as you ran them over. The Raptors board is, without question a cesspool for some of the most obnoxious forum posters on the planet. It's so bad, I cannot separate the good posters, as I just don't care. That board could use a cleansing of epic perportions, and this whole site could do away with animated avatats, and signatures. They slow everything down, promote poor discussion habits, and there's nothing worse the. Seeing the same stupid ass "Tank commander" derp derp sig a million times.

Just a piece of crap board, with zero value for sane, thoughtfully discussion.

*vent*
