Missing Pieces
I'm a Die Heart Pistons Fan, i would love to see a Trade for SF Gerald Green. I honestly think he's the missing link. Not only does he Bring Excitement to the Team. I honestly feel as if there would be few teams that could compete with him in the starting line up of our new SVG system. Trade Kyle Singler and GiGi Datome for Green.

I also think Doug McDermott would be a better fit than Kyle Singler.

I think Die Heart 3: With a Vegetable was underrated.

Re: Missing Pieces
C'mon guys, it was just an honest typo; don't be so heart on him.
Welcome to the boards, bob. You're not the first to make a case for Gerald Green; in fact, most of us have "our horse" in the race for the Pistons' SF of the future. Personally, my guy (especially amongst the young / cheap options) is Perry Jones III from OKC. McDermott is a name who hasn't come up a lot, probably because of the rarity of inner-divisional trading (can't imagine CHI would be too keen on helping us, and vice versa).
Anyhow, welcome to the party and I hope you enjoy the conversation!

Green is JR Smith 2.0, too inconsistent but a nice piece off the bench sometimes.

Haha, Yea. "Die Heart" big deal. My grammatical error will be the cause of everything that goes wrong in the year 2015. But on another note. Green's inconsistency can probably be fixed by Stan Van Gundy's coaching. I think if Traded for, SVG could get the best out of him. Something he couldn't do with Josh Smith.

Nah... what we need is Smith back because he creates rebounding opportunities.

Don't sweat it, dude. Kick back and relax, maybe listen to a little Beatles music. Heart Day's Night, Devil in Her Hard, and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hards Club Band are all good songs to chill out to.

Re: Missing Pieces
Seriously though. Can we get Green? Or who the hell else can we get for a few of our expirings that we won't miss. We need a starting caliber SF dammit lol. Datome almost makes $2 million. Caron around $4. Maybe Joel Anthony and his expiring. There's gotta be somebody out there that wants to dump somebody on us. Sigh. Why couldn't we have just freakin lucked out and won the lottery last draft and gotten Wiggins. We'd be so set!

its hard right now because as is with this roster, and way we have been playing. We look to make the playoffs with our youth at the forefront developing. Does SVG really want to shake that up? ISN'T THAT EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT? and if so, what could he trade away that would allow us to have greater return!?
JJ
Singler
Martin
Augustine
Datome
You mention anthony but we have no center(if you want to call him that) after moose and dre. So though anthony may get a bunch of DNP's, he is needed. JJ provides a floor spacer at the 4. His platooning with Tolliver has been effective and again we won't get much return, 4 million expiring isn't that valuable normally. Martin won't get any return, augustine maybe, but again we trade him, now we have no back up PG. Despite popular opinon, Dinwidde's not ready or SVG doesn't think he is, ie he's not. Datome, we'd probably get back a D-league player.
We have nothing to trade , we have chemistry with this team. Making a significant trade makes little sense at possibly hurts this team.

The team has gone from "sellers" to potential "buyers" in a few short weeks...
I suspect non contenders will soon be going into salary dump mode.
