Make a deal with chinese team to get Will
Bynam back.
Since Will Bynum debut, Guangdong has won 22 straight games. NBA interest has grown for backup point, but China playoffs will delay return.
D-League Either Lorenzo Brown , Seth Curry,or (Vander Blue the best pick)

Hell no to Bynum. Let him play in China since he's found a good spot there.

Lorenzo Brown is probably the likliest, but I bet feelers are also sent to Denver to see if Jameer Nelson could be had cheaply - ie Datome or something.

Will Bynum was part of the Dumars regime and was moved for a reason. No way he's back. Spencer is likeliest with someone like Lorenzo brown or Jameer Nelson in the fold if possible.

Nobody probably, Augustin will be getting starters minutes and Dinwiddie will get playing time. Meeks probably gets some minutes at the 1 as well.

Meeks may be the worst passer among guards in the league.

Do we need to sign anyone?
If someone was available better than Dinwiddie wouldn't we have already signed them as a third pg?

This is what I figure as well. So that's for the rest of this season. What about next year? Does Jennings make it back to start next year? From WebMD:
After either type of surgery, you will likely wear a cast, walking boot, or similar device for 6 to 12 weeks. At first, the cast or boot is positioned to keep the foot pointed downward as the tendon heals. The cast or boot is then adjusted gradually to put the foot in a neutral position (not pointing up or down). Many health professionals recommend starting movement and weight-bearing exercises early, before the cast or boot comes off. Your total recovery time will probably be as long as 6 months.
So that's 6 months, that gets us to July. I guess he should be ready for next year. Will he be as fast as he was? Tough, tough news for the Pistons

I just looked up Vander Blue's Dleague stats and size. I would be open to a 10day contract if it's possible. Obviously, it's a step down.. but it's competition for the backup spot.

No, they don't need to sign anyone. Like I posted in another thread, I think it's crazy to operate under the idea that with the way Brandon was playing the Pistons had a shot at the playoffs, so now that he's potentially out for the year they should change things around to try to maintain that shot at the playoffs.

Is Jameer Nelson availble? That's our best bet. I hope he gets signed. We might actually get better. Who knows.

Fortunately, we have some time before the trade deadline to see if DJ/Din can hold the fort. Then maybe we either pick up a veteran pg free agent or a D-league callup.
