The impending tank is coming without Jennings but if there's one team we have to find a way to beat it's Cleveland, my most hated team in basketball. F those bastards, LET'S GO PISTONS!!!

Not sure if I hate Cleveland or Boston more, but they are both in a category by themselves. I'm not quite sure if I'm ready to go tank mode yet. If we tank, we get a better draft pick, but almost surely lose Monroe. If we make the playoffs and make some noise, I think he might stay. But either way, I hope we beat Cleveland.

I hate the Cavs, hate the homecoming narative, hate that they dominate ESPN, hate the city, so I'll be praying for a win

I don't believe we'll actually tank, although if things go badly it might look that way. Jennings is a big loss, but it doesn't have to be the heart of the team. A little better shooting or defensive effort might have won the last game. Tonight's game is tougher task yet, but let's just hope for some good effort.

I can't hate Cleveland. LeBron's decision to come home and try to win one for Ohio won admiration from me. It would be quite a nice chapter in a great career. Sure, it's hard not to resent the ridiculous luck in the draft, or LeBron's improbable return, but Cleveland is bereft of any real success in the NBA. They are, after all, our neighbors.

However, go Pistons! Hoping for the team to show some pride tonight.

we will go .500 ball, hopefully, the rest of the way, and make the 8th seed.

Why does anyone give a damn if LeBron is trying to win one for the "home team" as if it counts for more? Is he trying harder for Cleveland than he would have for the Miami Heat? What's with that narrative? I'm sure nobody outside of Michigan would GAF if the Lions won the Super Bowl and count it for more just because they've never won one. There's nothing special about the #1 free agent choosing a roster better built for longer term success, I don't care how many love letters are written.

I get that they want to drive up demand for their channel I guess... but it seems so weird to me that they would prevent customers who pay a big $$ subscription from watching games.
