Big game tonight. If we win, we basically swap the #8 and #9 lottery spots with Charlotte, and inch closer to the playoffs. We still need a crazy run, with another road game to Chicago and to Cleveland. But Charlotte is certainly winnable.

The idea that the playoffs are still alive is a little ridiculous. It would take a phenomenal streak from Detroit, and Brooklyn, Boston Charlotte and Indiana all falling apart. Not going to happen.

I figured we weren't going to make the playoffs when we lost to New York at home.

It wasn't that game that condemned the season. It was the 5-23 start. It was an insurmountable hole to climb out of. I give a lot of credit to how well this team has come together and played despite all the adversity they've dealt with, but it's just not going to be enough.

Here is why I think we swap with Charlotte if we win. Currently projecting us both at 34-48 at the end of the season. This would flip it by two games if we win tonight.

I think by now you should now that this team especially is damn near impossible to predict who we are going to win or lose against.

Our playoff chances ended for good when we lost 10 straight. Best thing to hope for now is for Reggie/KCP/Dre to continue to develop and for us to stay in the 7th/8th pick slot.

Even though I have all these games predicted, I agree with you How we lose to Philly and the Knicks but beat Toronto and the Hawks? Regardless, we are somewhere between #8 pick and #8 seed. Ironically, we have 8 games to find out where we land

Right now like most said,we arent making the playoffs unless we go on a crazy run and other teams fall apart.So I will root for the players to play well,but want the loses,it would suck to fall to 9-10 in the lottery and miss out on players we could have gotten if we were 1-2 spots earlier.
