Game #80 - Charlotte @ Pistons 2015-04-12 We better LOSE!

Match-ups - Who cares.

Only match-ups that matter are the remaining games - Charlotte is 33-46, we're 30-49. We currently sit with the 8th pick, Charlotte with the 9th pick. After today's game our remaining two games are @Cleveland on Monday @ NYK on Wednesday and Charlotte is home to Houston and finishes @ Toronto. If we win today, we could beat Cleveland if they start resting their dudes and will surely beat the Knicks so we could finish 33-49. Now if Charlotte loses to us, they host Houston who is still playing for play-off seeding in the uber tight West playoff race and that's a sure loss, and then finish in Toronto who's seeding should be locked-up and they could rest their dudes BUT Charlotte has ever reason to tank that last game with a better draft pick on the line and TO could win even by resting some of their dudes.

We lose today and we're locked into the 8th pick (pending the lottery).

Last home game of the season should be fun as most of the entire lower bowl is sold out

Not worried about 8th or 9th TBH, Charlottes not gonna take a SF if they get the 8th pick and we have the 9th. They likely go with a SG/PF/C

Fair point, but there's always trades... higher is still better.

LOL, I rarely if ever root for losses but I think CLE likely beats us if all their guys play. Id much rather end the season on a high note and finish 3-0. No difference between 8th and 9th pick and the odds of winning the lottery are already slim.
