If it happens, I give all the credit to Penguin and his newborn son, Stanley D'Angelo Penguin.

I want Towns with the #1. The pairing of him and drummond would be insane.

Russell or Towns. Not even remotely interested in oak.

Am I the only person who isn't convinced that Towns is going to be great? I honestly didn't see enough to believe he's going to be a cornerstone of an NBA franchise. I saw the functional tools to get there, but brief flashes don't convince me.

I'd personally take Russell or Winslow over either. Look at the final 4 teams. 3 of them got there due to having an MVP caliber perimeter player(s). The Hawks being the exception as the ultimate team-ball, but they may have not made it if John Wall didn't suffer his wrist explosion.

It was hard to tell with any of Kentucky's players this year. When guys only play 20 minutes a game and don't want to show up at the combine. The NBA draft is such a crapshoot.

Fair enough. WCS likely diminished Towns' role to some extent. Either way, it's always a crapshoot, especially on one-and-done players. You never really know their development arc, because there wasn't a second season in college to see if they made a leap (Victor Oladipo) or stagnated (Marcus Smart)

Thing is, KAT *is* something of a perimeter player. Yeah, he's 6'11" with length, but he can put it on the floor and shoot.

Okafor is the one top guy that's just a center, period. The rest (KAT, Kaminsky, Porzingis, even WCS) are a little of something else -- the new NBA type big that's faster and/or has a perimeter game.

I feel sorry for whomever drafts Jahlil Okafor. There's a small chance he becomes awesome because almost no one else does what he does, but there's a much bigger chance the current NBA just doesn't fit his game (hi, Greg Monroe!).

Towns kinda has a Rasheed type of game to him. Just wish he had the craziness as well lol

Okafor has athleticism that Moose does not, he can also shoot 4-6ft, some analyst have said, he might be able to develop a mid range shot too, if he isn't scared to shoot them like Moose is, he might be able to. He is going to be a very good player.

The only reason why I'm here is because we can't lose the lottery 6 years in a row.... the cavs won 4 years straight!

He has the range probably not as athletic though. I know they aren't exactly alike but his overall game shows some similarities too me when I watch him play for some reason.
