Smokescreens everywhere, so I take everything with a mountain of salt.

But, I'd be perfectly happy with SJ in a Pistons uniform. People cite that he just bullied people in high school and college with his massive physic for a wing. Well, what do you think he's going to do in the NBA? Even by NBA standards, he's a beast for a 19 year old! He has a wingspan that's a little longer than 6'11. I like him a lot.

While that's not unreasonable at all, keep this in mind:

Real solid information usually doesn't start leaking until the night before the draft if at all.

I do think Pistons will be walking out of the draft with one of Winslow, Hezonja, Booker or Johnson.

Langlois doesn't really put out any information. He just does his draft profiles, weekly questions, and TBP stuff. At least that's all I ever really pay attention to. I'm following him on Twitter mostly for the Van Gundy quotes. :D

I cant wait for draft night to get here already so we can stop talking about rumors and talk about our draft picks.

This is particularly suspect when you note that Realgm is actually the SOURCE of this information.

Have you read his articles? I have no idea how he manages to write so many words without actually saying anything. The guy has made a career of never being wrong, because he never actually says anything.
Everything we hear for next 24 hours, I don't believe any of it. Why would any team tip their hand at this point?

At this point to me, Johnson will feel like the consolation prize. I'd rather trade back and get somebody different just to have done something.

Exactly. That's why you only read his stuff for quotes from people who are actually saying something worth listening too. Langlois is a master of filler. I can relate though, that's the same formula I used in college to write (and do pretty well on) essays.

That seems like a poor strategy

why doesn't RealGM dedicate writers to certain teams. I feel like that would help posters identify with certain sources and maybe even give creditto the source and site?

Only if you like Johnson. Frankly at best I think you could trade down several spots and really not get a player much worse than him.

If we can sucker a team into giving up something meaningful to move up a few spots, I'd definitely do it if the good players are gone.

We need to take who ever has the best defense at number 8, forget the offense. If Stanley is the best defender, this will be a decent pick in a trash draft.
