Maybe it means SVG is looking to pick up his SF via trade and dump BJ...

If we did acquire Joe Johnson, the team would have enough for a decent backup big but would have to fill the backup PG with Spencer and a vet minimum player like JL3

Makes me wonder if either Reggie is demanding a max offer (or got one from another team) or if Brandon Jenning's contract is on the move for a wing player.

Why don't wait until August to sign him?

Showstopping move.

Lucas/Hilliard/Martin/Miller/Anthony should become one of the league's most dominant bench units for years to come.

Doubt its that deep.

Hes a respected veteran and without knowing, guessing he's a good locker room guy.

he'll be in suits most of the season in Detroit.

It tells me Jennings is on the move or won't be ready to start the season. Too much JL3 hate, he's decent for a reserve.

Exactly. I wrote this in the other thread:

Detroit reaching out to Lucas isn't a huge surprise. Keep in mind the roster limit until the end of preseason is like 20 players. He would probably be nothing more than a camp body if/when Jennings can't do much at the time

JLIII sucks. He's a worse version of Will Bynum. Hopefully, as our 3rd PG, he'll never see the court except when high fiving guys on their way to the bench.

If I'm not mistaken, I actually think this was posted on Twitter as a inside joke that apparently went over some folk head.

Hope so. There are many cheap FA pgs ID rather look at before even calling Lucas.
