Is it possible? Barnes and Lee would be great.. I'd even consider Iggy to mold SJ.. What you think.. Trade ideas are **** but this one helps them.

They will pay the tax bill for one year over dumping one of those 2 just to move Lee.

We might be able to get Iggy/Lee for next to nothing.. Barnes would still probably warrant something decent going to them.. They need to clear Lee's deal..

But very unlikely at the expense of one of their starters or important rotation pieces.

Let's do it! Let's shake up this weak ass roster. If we strike out I wouldn't mind picking up Barnes and Lee even if we had to give up Stanley Johnson.

What does it take to get Barnes and Lee?

I think there's a decent chance they'll be able to move Lee without dangling assets, much less trade away part of their core.

I would trade Meeks for Iggy/Lee

They get a 3 pt shooter off the bench and we get a defensive SF to help bring Johnson along slowly and Lee to backup Ilasoyva

This Entire thread is crazy. Why would a team trade their finals MVP?!? He was their ONLY player that could really guard LeBron.

The Pistons would have to trade SJ if they want Iggy. Plus they have Livingston and Barbosa. Why would they want Meeks??

And Lastly Lee and Iggy make a combined 27mil next year. Who we trading that has that combined salary??

Stop talking sense! We're signing Draymond, D Wade and LMA. If that fails, we'll pick up Iggy for scraps and I guess take on this scrub Tobias Harris. :banghead:

Iggy is not going anywhere. If you can have the cap space to take Lee without sending anything back, then you can have Looney as well.

I'd do that in a heart beat if we completely strike out this FA.

Yeah, that's probably a more reasonable deal.

But hey, the Sixers just got top dollar for taking on Thompson and Landry, so one never knows. Might be able to squeeze another pick or something. They sure aren't giving us part of their core though.

That kind of deal would have to depend on Detroit's medical evaluation of Looney's hip. There was talk right before the draft that a bunch of teams had him flagged and/or taken off their boards entirely because of it. Assuming it checks out I would be all for it though.
