Wow! Stan has supreme faith in the kid. Better earn that money now.

Does the Anthony deal get done first or what? Once this is signed, we're capped out.

Our core is coming along nicely.. let them grow under SVG and find another PF next offseason. We're finally moving in the right direction.

Y'all keeping Jennings now?

Just curious.

KCP has to take the next step for us to be successful. He's honestly the one that will put us over the edge.. He HAS TO get consistent with his shot. I think he can.

Honestly, we know just as much as you. But Stan claims that he wants to use both.

If he's healthy and playing well I'd imagine we'd flirt with trade ideas...who knows though.

My prediction is he gets moved between now and the deadline.

Reggie is our PG. SVG traded for him and saw what he could do with a lineup that was quite bad. Not sure why you thought SVG wouldn't have all kinds of faith in him.

Edit: Reggie is almost tailor-made for SVG's system.

Jennings will be traded the moment he proves he's healthy enough for another team to offer at least 80 cents on the dollar for him.

This probably has more potential to be looked back upon negatively than positively.

But I guess this had to be done. Although, I didn't hear much chatter that other teams were interested enough to the point of driving the price to this point.

Don't see why this would be a shock to anyone with Knight getting 70mil

He didn't even entertain calls from other teams. They had a handshake agreement the whole time.

It was still only 23 games. We were in a tough spot though, I guess it had to be done. He better be another Harden situation, only the pg version of it.

Seems like a ton of money for a very unproven guy. Also seems like you guys bid against yourselves here a bit. Hope it works out. I've liked the rest of the Pistons off-season moves.

I feel sick agreeing with Ellis, but the Thunder did offer him $12 million to be the full time backup to a top-10 player.

Reggie is going to be an All-Star this season. Mark it down.

That's Harden money. Go earn it Reggie. Hope's he's working on his J, that's the only thing that will keeping him from being a top 7 or 8 point guard.

Not really. It's the market rate for PG's this summer. Why low ball him? He's going to make that money one way or another. He was a triple-double threat towards the end of the season. Kid will work out.
