You're not going to get much action on a Three's Company joke in here. Sure, I'm in my 40's and know what the hell you're talking about, but most of these folks don't.

I'm 29 and remember watching that show on Nick at Night as a teenager, it came on right when I was at the age where I got most of the jokes.
My god that was a bad show in retrospect. Virtually every episode had the same plot.

Three's Company as a whole sucked, but John Ritter was funny, and Suzanne Somers was hawt. Janice (the third person) was dull, and almost all of the peripheral characters were overplayed and lame. Mr. Roper (the landlord) was kinda funny, I guess. Jack's (Ritter) buddy was awful, and most of the ladies that were his targets were hilariously poor actresses.
Yeah, and the plots were bad. Basically, the show survived on guys ogling the actresses.

They epitomized virtually every tired sitcom cliche, especially the "comic misunderstanding" that was the basis of every single storyline.
Actually, I sorta remember the Ropers being funny.....the first 10 times they made jokes about their lack of sexual intimacy. After that.....
How on earth did they get their own show?
I do remember getting laughs from John Ritter, though. Sitcoms are terrible.

Hahaha I was trying to know what he was talking about. I was gonna call them out on a random post. I didn't understand.

I think this probably has the award for the most pointless thread ever.
And of course I'm the top poster in it. Fabulous.

I get that a lot from Realgmers. I think people have the tendency to think that the people who have been around since Realgm's infancy are older.
That, and I think I have a posting style that conveys more age than I actually have.
