This thread is about 3 months early (I'll revisit it then)but with that said, one thing I know with 100% certainty is that Drummond will not average less rebounds then he did last year.

Bare minimum? 16rpg.

Might as well get my numbers in... ppg/rpg/apg

Only going to bother for the ten guys I think play most nights once BJ is healthy

Jackson 18/5/9
Drummond 17/15/1
KCP 14/3/2
Stanimal 11/5/3
Ilyasova 11/5/1

Jennings 10/2/4
Meeks 9/2/1
Morris 8/4/2
Baynes 7/5/1
Tolliver 5/2/1

I realize that adds to 110 ppg, and we're not going to score that much, but not everyone plays in every game, so it still works. For example, if you add up the ppg averages (as Pistons) for the top ten guys that finished last season as Pistons, you get over 110 ppg, even though the team only averaged 98.5 ppg. I think we'll score a little more this year (100 ppg or so), so adding up to 110 ppg is ok.

I've been waiting for this thread to pop up lol.

Jackson 18ppg 8apg
Caldwell-Pope 14ppg 3rpg (with respectable percentages)
Johnson 11ppg 4rpg (primarily a garbage man fifth option who shows flashes)
Ilyasova 14ppg 6rpg
Drummond 18ppg 14rpg

Jennings 14ppg 5apg (Limited minutes and coming off injury)
Meeks 12ppg (better percentages)
Morris 10ppg 3rpg
Tolliver 7ppg (continues to share PF minutes with other players like Johnson/Morris/Baynes)
Baynes 7ppg 4rpg

I expect a very well-rounded offense with Jackson and Drummond getting more touches than everyone else.

Yeah, there's just no way the top ten scorers total 125 ppg. As I said in my post, it will add up to more than our actual per game total (because of injuries and not everyone playing every game), but it's not going to be that high.

I can relate. I did my homer estimates, realized my numbers added up to 120 ppg, and then shaved everyone down about a point to compensate. We're a fairly balanced team, and it's going to hurt everyone's numbers a bit.

LOL. Dude that's crazy. Ersan is going to average less points and the same boards next year on a team that he fits. Yeah not happening

That's how I see it man. I think folks are over-rating Illyasova. The guy isn't that good and he can't stay healthy.

I got Illyasova and Tolliver almost averaging the same amount of MPG's too.

So, in essence your saying Drummond will not be playing more minutes this year?

See, last year, Deandre Jordan averaged 15rpg, at 34.4mpg. Per 36mpg, he averages 15.7rpg.

Last year drummond averaged 13.5 rpg, at 30.5mpg. Per 36mpg, he averages 15.9rpg.

Deandre Jordan had 13 20+ rebound games last year.

Andre Drummond had 11 20+ rebound games last year.

I'm saying, now that Monroe is gone, Drummond will be averaging more mpg. If he averages 36mpg (I think it will be closer to 40. Around 38mpg)he absolutely will average 16rpg. If it is indeed 40mpg, he would average 17.7rpg.

So, he will come damn close to that 16rpg if he gets more mpg, unless you think he will stay at, 30.5mpg.

There's no way Andre is playing 38 minutes a game, zeeb. I do expect an increase, but probably to more like 34.

I don't think he'll be able to stay as active as SVG wants him to unless he gets some quarterly rest.

When was the last time a player averaged 16rpg? I don't see a 22 year old kid doing that. Also, SVG hardly ever plays his players that much. Dre will average 34mpg max. He will have a huge year but saying he will snag 16rpg is a bit homerish imo.

You have to factor in foul trouble too. He still struggles with that from time to time which will also eat into his total mpg.

It seems crazy but it's definitely possible for him. I mean Deandre avg 15rpg last season and Varejao also avg 15 RPG a few seasons ago.

It is possible for Dre to average 16 reb like zeeb said per 36 he average 15.9. Also idk if SVG stop playing his players a lot this season but Howard was playing like 38 minutes a game.

Varejao averaged 14.4 in only a 25 game sample. The most I see Dre averaging is 15rpb. Hopefully, I'm wrong and he does average more but I try not to be a homer and just assume our players are going to put up historical averages.
