Those would be the three I'd wager get cut as well. If you're curious what other people think, please refer to the two or three other threads directly related to this topic.

He didn't do anything for the Clippers when they were practically starved for an SF that's marginally better than Matt Barnes.

I think his injuries in the past killed his any lingering hope for longevity.

From 2012/13 to 2014/15 seasons, Granger has played 76 games. I'm thinking he has zip left. In his 10 year career he has only played 78 or more games 4 times. He's done. The best he could do is get cut and catch on with the Timberwolves have Arnie Kander work on him.

Granger should get cut.

Cartier Martin was hurt most of last season and SVG sort of suggested dude was malingering at one point. His great contribution was shooting and he couldn't do that. He couldn't do enough to warrant sniffing the rotation and now the competition on the team for his position is much stiffer.

Martin should get cut.

That leaves Reggie Bullock and Adonis Thomas battling for the last spot. I give the advantage to Thomas. Thomas is two years younger with a full year of playing in SVG's system on the D-League affiliate. That experience will matter a great deal as he comes into camp with a feel for what's expected.

Bullock should get cut.

I'm concerned about depth at the three. Morris is a wild card and Johnson a rookie. We really need as experienced and steady of a hand as we can get as a third. The pickings are slim, but that's probably Martin.

Granger, Bullock, and Thomas

My vote would be for Granger, Martin, Thomas. Granger is broken, Martin was never any good, Thomas is a d-leaguer at best, Bullock has a chance I think to be a rotation player at some point, he has more upside then Thomas I believe.

Martin

Agreed. SVG alluding to Martin's malingering last season certainly doesn't aid the public perception of his job security.

Hopefully SVG learns from the Martin and Aaron Gray contracts. Don't give minimum salary level players a second year option.

Can't believe anybody think Martin even has a shot. He was soooo bad last year, and offers nothing over these other guys. Personally, I think Bullock is about to emerge on this team, but I get the argument against him, I do. But Martin, Granger, and Thomas(though i expect SVG to manage a way to bring him back somehow) get my vote.

I'd agree based on what we saw last year, but he never really got any time. When he has he's been a solid three point shooter and defender, as well as a solid locker room presence (I'm told). If something happened with Johnson or Morris and we needed someone to play extended minutes at the three, he's the best of who we're talking about here.

Martin was a cultural signing - he'll get cut if SVG believes the culture no longer needs him

Granger is the one guarantee, but I think they'll wait until the last minute (well to cut anyone I think they will, unless they think someone might pick up the guy off waivers or something. Which probably only applies to Thomas and maybe Bullock).

Martin, I think, is next unless he has a really good camp.

Then Bullock or Thomas, really have no idea. Maybe Bullock gets an edge because of guaranteed money.

Well now that Josh Smith is gone, maybe someone will listen to poor Cartier Martin, because, in Josh's own words " I don't respond to nobody with dreadlocks who plays basketball". Maybe it was Josh Smith keeping him down because of his hair? Blame it on Josh.

A WHAT?!?

People have to have some level of respect for you to make you a culture changer. Heck, SVG accused Martin of malingering. Not exactly a "culture guy".

I have no doubt he was signed to be a hard working practice player. Ain't no other reason to sign him!

IF he came in last season and worked his ass off in practice it makes our other guys better - doesn't necessarily translate to minutes though.

The fact he didn't fill that role is likely why he'll be removed.

I can't get past the title of the thread. Is it grammatically correct? "Who is the three to get cut" "Who are the three to get cut" "Who will be the three to get cut" "Which three will be cut"

The original sounds wierd, but that doesn't mean it's incorrect.

I need some help here, it's driving me nuts.

"What three will be cut"

It can't be correct because who is used in the singular correct?

"Which three get cut" "Which three will get cut?"

UGH
