Baynes expected to make his debut tonight. Johnson vs Butler should be a good matchup too.

I'm hoping Blake is ready, or Stanley picks up the pg slack. I don't know if I can stand watching the team go from dynamic and flowing to watching one guy dribble for 6 seconds run to the elbow pass to the guy least likely to shoot, get the ball back dribble for another 7 seconds then either turn the ball over on a horrendous jump in the air pass, off balance three by Dinwiddie himself or one that was received by another player at his ankles, or a missed driving layup attempt.

He is really driving me insane and doesn't fit this team, or system.

In any event, a first hand look at Baynes is exciting. As much as a appreciate Joel's defense, Baynes being able to do so much offensivly has me really excited.

I also hope we get to see a little of Drummond Baynes combo for our giant lineup.

Johnson

Besides seeing Baynes play I'm excited to see bobby portis, I really liked him when I did my pre-draft work.

With the inconsistency we have been getting at the four spot, and Baynes' midrange ability, starting him at PF might be something to consider. We wouldnt have quite the spread offense, but Baynes should still be able to draw his man from the paint, allowing us enough spacing for Reggie and Drummond. He would help on defense more than Morris or Ersan too, I think, and rebounding as well.

I am also curious to see Johnson at SG too.

I'd actually rather see us start ironing out rotations now that were halfway through pre season..to build some semblance of consistency for the reg season. Either way it'll be nice to have the Big Banger back tonight!

Yeah I forgot about him. Crazy Eyes Portis has really played well.

This draft is crazy deep. So many good players in it, and so many ready to contribute. Wow.

Wonder if that means Baynes will play some four with no Ersan, or if Tolliver will just play more. im really curious to see what Dre and Baynes look like together. Could be a modern day Mahorn-Laimbeer duo
