Hypothetical: Who is your building block?

Hypothetically, lets say that all the teams are scrapped and the NBA is doing a fantasy draft (2k style).
You have pick 1. Who do you choose as the building block for your team? You can pick anyone in the NBA (or out of it if you really want). Are you going to compete now? Are you going to take youth? Are you going to be a homer and take Drummond or Stanley Johnson? The power is yours!
I posted something along these lines a couple of years ago and the answers were mostly Lebron, Dwight Howard with a few Durant and Blake Griffins scattered about. A few years on, a regressed Howard, an older LeBron, and a prime Durant/Griffin are now competing with the next generation of stars so lets see how different it all is.
For me, Anthony Davis walks in and I do everything to keep him happy for the rest of his playing career while I surround him with the best two way players I can. I think any team with AD are multiple championship contenders for the next 10 years, regardless of the quality of his other players. To me, he is the opposite of Kevin Love in the idea that he can put up numbers and still win games on bad teams
