Not feeling this game at all, one way or the other. I've watched every single one of Phoenix's games and they are a bizarre team with a bizarre edict that they have to have two pg's on the floor at all time.

Their offense is loose as hell with seemingly no rhyme or reason and defensively they seem like a swarm, go for the turnover and run type of team.

On paper our offense should he able to flow and even though Phoenix is a good rebounding team Drummond, if he brings the effort should have another monster game on the glass.

I'm 50/50 on this game.

BTW for those wondering, in two games against chandler last year Drummond absolutely destroyed him averaging 12 points and 22 rebounds a game. (One 19/24 game and a 6/19 game. Chandler has zero hope of guarding or keeping drummond off the glass)

I expect Mook to be aggressive tonight to show off against his former team. How our guys handle this game after the loss of last game will tell me if they are ready to compete this season.

I'll be at work tonight but I'm DURing the game. I need you guys to keep me updated.

Not a very good matchup for us. Let's hope we can still manage to win it though.

We really needKCP to show up as well. We can't have him being like last year. We need consistent scoring from one of our SGs. Right now Jackson is our only backcourt player even scoring.

FWIW (which, granted, is not much), I'm trying to stay level-headed and judge this entire 10-day, 6-game West Coast trip as a whole, with my hope being we break even and go 3-3. The way I see it, we've gotta be considered heavy dogs against the Warriors and the Clippers, but we should be solid favorites against the Lakers. That would make us 1-2 in those games, which leaves three three "coin flip" games (PHX, POR & SAC) to determine whether or not this trip — which is always the toughest of the year for all Eastern teams — can be considered a successful one. Of course, as always, here's hoping that I'm being too conservative and we can snag four victories (or more) on this Pacific swing!

So glad we are 3-1 going into this western trip. We should come out of it with a winning record still.

A 3-3 trip would be great.

That would keep us above .500 (6-4 to be exact) in a tough first 10 game stretch. I'd feel pretty decently about our team if we came out of that 10 game stretch with more wins than losses.

We'll see if we can manage it.

As for the game, I'm looking for Reggie and Stanley to be keys. Reggie needs to get the offense going and the ball moving and Johnson needs to bring energy and scoring off the bench. With those two firing and Drummond doing his usual dominating the rest of the team should follow suit. It's gonna be a tough one.

Hopefully they widen the rim a few inches so less than 70% of the Pistons' shots won't miss.

Ersan just went 18 for 24 from 3 in warmups. Baynes working on the elbow shot. Brick city.

I expect Markieff to beast over Marcus - I see Marcus as the deferring beta twin of the two.
Weaver = Hinkie
