Do we have any resources to make this happen?

I was just going to post this. Would be a perfect opportunity to get a decent backup PG. Stan is close with Riley too.

Always liked Beno though not sure what he has left. Its only a 2m exp contract and worth a chance if they just need a 3rd team to take him.

Udrih stats this year:

15 mpg
6 ppg
2:1 ast/to ratio
36% 3pt

Sounds like exactly what we need for 15 mpg behind Reggie.

Do it Stan!

We already have 15, we'd have to pay someone to leave and pay Udrih. Blake, Anthony, Dinwiddie or Hilliard depending on who Trader Stan thinks should go.

That being said, I don't see Stan making a move after 7 games no matter how bad our bench has looked.

He's one of the best backup PGs imo. SVG definitely should be in but not sure what we can offer.

Dinwiddie moving out would make sense given Jackson is our future pg, but we'd need to include more contracts still right? If it's cost cutting Miami is after it would make sense if we were taking on more contract, but Beno makes double Spencer - even if it's just his vets minimum level.

Maybe we can get a team to take Dinwiddie to clear a spot (maybe Riley wants him over Udrih?)

We can only take on 150% of Dinwiddie's contract, so we're short still in a straight up Dinwiddie for Urdih swap.

Jarnell Stokes is intriguing too as a cheap 4/5 project. I really liked him at TENN. We don't have room for him though.

Still a chance we could deal directly with MIA

I like Udrih over Blake, and I like Stokes a little, too... but for what roster spots? They aren't going to take Blake.

Udrih for Dinwiddie.. Not sure how we can make contracts works. Dinwiddie absolutely has the potential for this to be a good deal for miami.. 6'6 point guard.

I'd be fine with that, but it doesn't work salary-wise.

We have no practice time for the next week+ anyways, and I also have a feeling Jennings will be back sooner than the end of December. I mean he's not coming back to start, but rather 10-15 minutes a game, and we could closely monitor his minutes - not use him on back to backs etc the first while. But once he starts full practicing - why not bring him back, he's a 6-7 year vet now.

backup pg play is killing us.. we need help now. Udrih is the type of move you don't have to kill your future over.. I'd be happy if we get him.. We don't even know what Jennings will look like.
