Great article. I truly didn't realize at the time how young Dre was because he looked like a man and that was the problem. I think because of how he looked a lot of GM's were expecting a sort of maturity that guys like davis, bron griffin and other freakish athletes. Dre was very much a mama's boy which i could understand could deter some teams. Looking back at it, he probably is the exact type of center you want. Still young raw physically and mentally ready to be molded with the attitude he wants to be one of the best. he just needs a to be shown how.
