only miami, memphis and brooklyn are worst than use but they use 3-point Field shoots 19, 17, 16 times, respectively.

KCP lost his confidence to his shooting ability, Morris has not a quick release. Morris has not been defended by slow PFs but quick SFs. We have not best bench and reggies jackson is not known his ability to set his shooters.

We should be aggresive to push a trade. Do you aggre?

I disagree that we should push for a trade right now. Mostly because of our lack of tradeable assets. It's way too early to trade KCP and I like what he brings on defense, Morris has been pretty good for us, other than his 3pt%, I say we let the season play out. Hopefully guys will improve, give Hoopla some time to tweak these guys, and remember, we aren't competing for a Championship this year anyway. This is a development year, and hopefully if we get Meeks back this year, he can provide some of that 3pt shooting we are desperately lacking right now. No way should we blow this up by trading core guys.

KCP stays. Kid Can Play. We keep our team together. We wait until the trade deadline to see if anything like the Jackson or Morris trade comes up. If not, we keep everyone. I like this team a lot

Several guys are struggling big time this season with their 3pt shot.

KCP is slowly reaching Josh Smith like numbers. 4.4 3PA at 28% is just not acceptable. SVG has to play KCP less minutes, his offense just isn't good enough to let him stay on the court for 37-38 minutes. Without Meeks there is no real backup. Stanley is more of a SF forced to play SG because of the lack of alternatives. Bullock has showed nothing in the regular season.

Morris takes the same amount of 3pt shots as last year in Phoenix, 35% last year - 30% this year. It seems like every decent shooter that gets to Detroit just gets worse here.

Tolliver is off to an awful start as well, 36% last year - 31% this year. Stanley got better but is still just at 30% as is Blake. Dinwiddie might be the worst 3pt shooting guard in the league.

Other than Ilyasova whos doing well at 39% and Reggie who is doing ok at 34% this team has no one with a reliable 3pt shot right now.
SVG sure could not envision that KCP, Morris and Tolliver start the season that poorly from 3, Meeks absence hurts a lot. Hopefully ballmovement gets better with Jennings and guys getting more open shots, but they have to make them at some point too! I still would look at the trade market for a reliable backup SG/SF if there is one out there who can knock down 1,2 threes at a good % in limited minutes it would help this team a lot, just can't wait until Feb/March until Meeks comes back.

Small sample but Hillard is 38% from 3 in his limited PT. Only 3-8 but anyone showing any potential from 3 right now should be getting more action.

Shot % is awful cause our offense stinks or our offense stinks cause our shooters suck?

Yeah but that doesn't change the fact that we are a bad 3 point shooting team?

The core of this team is a bunch of new players with no real back up pg. Jennings comes back to start creating and our chemistry continuing to improve will help our shooting.

The problem isn't lack of shooters. It really isn't. We have plenty of guys who have shown they can hit 3's in the NBA. The problem is that our lack of ball movement means that our spotup shooters aren't consistently getting open looks. If the ball is moving crisply around, I've got confidence in any of our perimeter players knocking down an open jumper.

"Small sample but Hillard is 38% from 3 in his limited PT" - Hillard has look OK because he can get his own shot. Similarly, Ersan can get a shot he's comfortable with just pick-and-popping up top. It's the guys who are playing off the ball that really suffer when the ball sticks.

it'll help to get meeks and jennings back, that's for sure.

if jennings accepts his role, it would be great. also jackson can play off guard position 10-15 minutes, so team would improve.
