Would You Rather? (Hypothetical)

Okay, this is my first topic up here so bear with me. I don't post much (HS student). But anyway, which of the polling options do you think is the best for the Pistons playoff chances this year? What about for the future?
The reasoning behind option #1: I was looking back at Jennings' stats in January leading up to his injury and remembered just how good he was. 24 points and 21 assists in the game before his Achilles tear. Without that injury occurring, we may have gone to the playoffs. Also, Jennings has a cheap contract and we could have gotten another player with the cap space that we spent on Reggie. We probably don't get Stanley Johnson if this happens because we don't go on a ten game losing streak as Reggie learns to play with the Pistons.
The reasoning behind option #2: Reggie Jackson has been a monster for us so far, but is his impact really greater than Jennings+20 mil in free agents? It's questionable. There's not a great chance that we get anyone significant with the extra cap space, anyway. Also, a bird in the hand is worth 2 (potential) birds in the bush. We have Reggie locked up for the future, while Jennings is expiring.
The reasoning behind option #3: If we got Jennings + Coveted FA (Harris?) we would still be around 16 and 12. So you're undecided if you choose this.
I don't really favor either outcome, I just want to see where you guys stand as we hype over Jennings' return.
