we all r aware we have a weakness at the pf spot. Would we be a better team if we had Myles Turner. What would it take to get him. Is he worth lets say KCP and Jennings. If u were Indiana would u agree to that. For us we could start Stanely at shooting guard with Meeks or Hilliard backing up. It becomes risky with Bullock being backup small forward. Does this make us better going forward or not? Just asking.

Turner is a C. He is slow laterally probably slower than Monroe just cause he can hit a jumpshot doesn't mean he is a PF. Trading KCP would be a lateral move right now, he is much better than Stanley on both sides. Hilliard is not ready for PT yet, bad defender and a ball hog.

Unfortunatly I say stay put unless SVG can get one of those Reggie or Morris trades.

too much, Pacers aren't getting rid of him and I'm not willing to give up any of or main players for him. Bulls are having a fire sale of bigs in Gasol, Gibson and Noah but we don't really have anything to give them either because they want win now pieces.

I've mentioned this in another post, but I believe SVG should try trading for Noah Vonleh in a buy low move. I should really disclaim that I was a big fan of this guy when he was in college and going into the draft, he really displayed some ability to shoot, rebound and block. His numbers are down this season (sophomore) but being so young I still believe in his untapped potential. He had some nice games in his rookie season with Charlotte and I feel that he just doesn't fit into Portland's style/system. If we could trade say a 2nd round pick and dinwiddie id be all over it like a fat kid loves cake!

Can Vonleh stretch the floor?

Why would the Pacers want KCP and Jennings? They already have Ellis, Stuckey, Hill and even Young who doesn't play.

The Pistons need a PF that can stretch the floor and shoot at least 37% from 3. If Jackson is your PG and Drummond is your C for the foreseeable Future (both of which aren't excellent 3pt shooters) You need your 2,3 and 4 to be able to knock down a bucket.

Gallinari? I'm not that big on him because of his injury history but if he could be had for a decent price he could be good at PF. He is basically the same size as Ersan and rebound about the same as well but he is much more skilled than Ersan and younger.

Like I said in my first post if he could be acquired like Reggie it would be great but I doubt they would give him up for free.

Markieff for Tolliver, Dinwiddie

Zach Lowe is reporting that teams are asking the Suns to throw in assets in order to take on Kieff

We dont need any assets and would be a perfect trading partner

At 8M a year even if it doesnt work out, Kieff will be tradeable to a contender in the offseason

I don't think you can pass up Keiff right now seeing as he can be had for next to nothing and fits exactly what we are looking for right now on a amazing contract.

Meeks and Dinwiddie work? That way we preserve our cap space that Drummond graciously gifted to us.

If we can't get Horford, Markieff is probably the next best upgrade we can realistically get. If PHX resorts to just dumping him and other teams want assets, we should be all over that. Give them some of our expirings and a 2nd rd pick. Maybe add in Hilliard to sweeten the deal.

I wonder if they would have any interest in Baynes. They will probably need another big if they trade Kieff and their salaries would match. Then we could just use him as our backup C.

He displayed some ability to spread the floor last season but as you can see they're down this season.

I've just always liked his game and I'm confident at the very least would be a decent backup 4 with the "potential" to be a very good starter. I certainly wouldn't trade away any 1st rounder or our starters plus Johnson/Jennings but anything else for sure.

taj gibson. he and is very good defender and has mid range game. bulls wants to trade him but I doubt we have enough to offer.

Get Markieff Morris and don't look back. He'd make us instant eastern conference favorites

Markieff would be a terrible backup center, but Phoenix shouldn't have any interest in Baynes anyways. They have Tyson Chandler and Alex Len.

If the Suns would take Meeks and Dinwiddie (which works in the ESPN trade machine) that would be a fine deal for Detroit. If you discount any potential issues reuniting the twins on and off the court at least. I'm not sure what value that would have to Phoenix outside of just dumping Morris though.

I agree on Markieff. Just get him and keep adding assets on good contracts. Meeks and Dinwiddie is a no brainier but I don't see the Suns taking that.

If we did Jennings straight up I'd be ok cuz I trust SVG. If someone here recommended it I'd have to think it over. Haha.

Baynes is a weak rebounder and defender and rim protector. I'll take over Markieff over him all day. He is just a better player period.

I would have Markieff sharing time with Ersan at PF (24 mpg) and then playing 12 mpg as Dre's backup at C.
