Lack of forward depth is concerning...

Post#1 » by Kilo » Tue Dec 29, 2015 4:42 pm

We can't be comfortable with our total lack of forward depth. Ersan is due to miss his usual string of games - do we really want Tolliver playing starter minutes? And if Mook is his only back-up, does that mean Stanley Johnson gets 30 minutes + a game all of a sudden? Meeks is out for another month and a half, and Bullock and Hillard cannot play the three even in a pinch.

Ilyasova's games played the last five seasons - 60, 60, 73, 55, 58
Weaver = Hinkie

The idea that all your backups are going to be starter quality isn't realistic. Anyway, Ersan is probably the starter whose loss would hurt us the least. Toliver is a capable roll player and Morris can pick up some of the minutes.

I'm on the cross that bridge if we ever get there. SVG for sure is looking at everything possible to upgrade the team. Whatever he does or doesn't do i'll give the benefit of the doubt. I really want to see BJ tho.

Just move Morris to the 4 and start Stanley. Every team is going to get worse if they lose a starter. Now if Drummond would go down, that would be a disaster.
