We have a chance to move into 5th place in the East with a win tonight. NO is without Eric Gordon but has fallen off the tank wagon lately. Let's get them right back on track.

it'll be interesting to see how we guard davis, i think morris and tolliver would do the best job but SVG really prefers to keep morris at SF most of the time.

this is the kind of game we have to win if we want home court advantage in the playoffs (which would be huge since we're not a great road team).

Also something we have to start looking at. Not just making the playoffs, but setting us up with HCA for our young guys to get as many home playoff games as possible.

I'm shooting for 2nd or 3rd seed and our team better be shooting for 1st seed :)

I don't think the Pelicans are deep enough to hack Dre like the Rockets did. Did anyone notice the whole starting lineup was in foul trouble in the end? The hacking really didn't work. They couldn't play defense without worrying about fouling somebody and we blew them away. Coaches aren't dumb enough to do it that bad.

To be honest I hope they hack Dre 30 more times tonight just so he can practice his FT shooting even more during the game. Sooner or later he'll get it right. He made them when they counted and we won because he made so many. Rockets had a horrible strategy.

Ryan Anderson will have a great night from 3 and this board will lose its mind. Calling it now. (and I include myself)

Dre didn't beat Melo or Gasol. Lowry did beat Kyrie, so RJ has a chance I think. That would be awesome

Dre not starting for allstar game, good news is lowry is starting. Maybe Dre and Reggie both get in as reserves.

knowing this team this is probably a loss, we don't win on back to back nights

According to you we don't win at all. Somehow they're 6th seed tho

To put into perspective how meaningless this is, Zaza Pachulia got more votes than Draymond and Cousins lol

The Warriors have one of the best starts in history and will only have 1 player starting for the West.

Pistons are the 5th seed and have no one starting, yet the Knicks a sub .500 team has Melo starting for the East.

Meaningless honor. The coaches vote is what means something.

we're just painfully inconsistent. we don't suck but we aren't good either

Great to know the real legends of the game acknowledge Drummond > Melo. That's what the All Star game is really about - being acknowledged by your peers - not using your celebrity wife to cheat your way in.

Yeah the starting lineup is just the casual fans lineup, i think its a bigger honor to get picked as a reserve. Drummond will be in no doubt.

I'm thinking we may have to go twin towers some tonight... not liking Illy on Davis... maybe put Dre on him at times to mix it up.

There are no bigs on either team. Way to honor the best wings in the game. What a travesty,

Have you seen Dre guard ppl that stretch the floor? Illy should be doing that. If Pelicans were smart they'd put AD at Center and Ryan Anderson at PF that would be tough to cover.
