Last 5 Games before the AS Break - @BOS, NY, @IND, TOR, DEN

Post#1 » by bstein14 » Wed Feb 3, 2016 3:22 am

Here's the remaining 5 games before the All-Star break.

Wednesday Feb 3 @ Boston (Boston played in New York tonight so they'll be on a B2B)
Thursday Feb 4 vs. New York (New York is 3-7 in their last 10 and been on the decline the last few weeks)
Saturday Feb 6 @ Indiana (Pacers will be on a B2B traveling from Atlanta the night before)
Monday Feb 8 vs. Toronto (Will be the toughest game for sure and there will be a lot of Raps fans at the Palace)
Wednesday Feb 10 vs. Denver (This will be Denver's 3rd game in 4 nights all with travel in between)

This looks like a perfect stretch for us to win some games and climb the standings before the all-star break. If we can go 4-1 in this stretch we should be able to be sitting in the 4/5 seed before the break. None of these teams are elite (although Toronto has been very good, we're at home and we aren't on a B2B).

boston, Indiana and Toronto will all be challenges and Denver/new York are no pushovers. that said, 3-4 wins would leave us sitting decently by the all star break. it would be disappointing to finish with 2 wins or less.

Everything pointing to a win, probably loss

Thursday Feb 4 vs. New York (New York is 3-7 in their last 10 and been on the decline the last few weeks)

We are the worst b2b team in the league. Though their effort against Tor was good. probably a loss

Saturday Feb 6 @ Indiana (Pacers will be on a B2B traveling from Atlanta the night before)

boys are going to get for this one. Probably a Win

Monday Feb 8 vs. Toronto (Will be the toughest game for sure and there will be a lot of Raps fans at the Palace)

Definite win

Wednesday Feb 10 vs. Denver (This will be Denver's 3rd game in 4 nights all with travel in between)

Revenge game

We are retiring Chauncey's jersey when we play Denver. Guaransheed win.

5-0! Lol. Time to wake up boys!
And free Markieff already jesus! Dude has such a cap friendly contract. Reuniting him with Marcus will make both of them appreciate SVG and play their asses off for him. Meeks Bullock Spencer and a 2nd round pick ;)

I bet Phoenix is just asking too much which is why no team has traded for him yet. Phoenix will cave the last day of Free Agency.

I bet Phoenix is asking for Jennings/Illy. That may be too much to take from Pistons depth.

Honestly with Hilliard/Bullock getting the bulk minutes Stanley Johnson normally gets and Johnson getting KCP's minutes this team's got the potential to lose to Denver....

We`ll go 1-1 on the next two, doesn`t matter which one we win or lose. This team has all the potential to win Toronto and lose to Denver.
